I liked this chapter.
Now I'm sad I have to wait a few weeks(?) for more.

Absolutely loved this chapter. I can imagine 9tails and Naruto running through fields together hand in hand smiling....or something like that lol
I've always got the feeling naruto will absorb the other tailed beasts into him - possibly during this fight. My guess is Son will join Naruto willingly and get a power up, then Tobi will flee. I'm guessing sometime he'll get the others, too. At one point Bee will risk his life to save Naruto and die, at which point the 8-tails will merge with Naruto. When he's got all of them, he will become the sage incarnate.
I was thinking something more along the line that breaking the chains would break tobidaras control over the yonbi and he'd be able to rebel against tobidara with them. But.. I kinda like the idea of Naruto becoming the sage incarnate lol.
Yeah I'm sure he'll just go on a rampage or something, the 5-tails tried to attack tobi before so I wouldn't be surprised if he managed to break loose too.
The way things are going, I wouldn't be surprised if the tailed beasts ultimately took permanent possession of the edo tensei bodies (being as the actual owner is dead obviously) so that they could keep that human influence that prevents them from rampaging and being stupid whilst not actually having anyone controlling them, or something...
Well, the tailed beasts aren't dead so I guess if they are in control that's one way to fuck over Edo Tensei on 'em. Makes sense.
The tailed beasts are probably just part of the whole tailed chakra like the 9tails is just half of the whole. The other part of the beasts is in the giant thing or inside tobidara. I've yet to see a manga where the ultimate attack is not completed to some degree.
Lol - Son Goku and Kurama
I wonder what other names Kishi will choose for the other Biju (Besides Shukaku that for some reason everyone has always known the name of)
Going to laugh if this turns out something like Ronin Warriors.
Why is Naruto so good. Its not fair
Power of friendship wins again, I just hope we don't have to spend 6 more chapters on power of friendship winning the day.
First, the Kakashi/Gai panels were brilliant. Two badass ninja that are more badass together.
Kishimoto strung us along thinking the biju were just masses of aggressive chakra, but went out of his way to give one of them a name (Gaara's Shukaku), as the story progressed and we were introduced to Bee, we learned that maybe the biju weren't just negative emotion in chakra form, and the host's relationship with them need not be dominant. Now, we learn the Sage named them and that they actually exist as intelligent, complex entities, which, naturally, someone like Naruto can exploit. I'm pleasantly surprised to think that Kishimoto had most all of this set up from the start.
I don't forsee Naruto hosting Son (as opposed to simply releasing him, which could just be a trap), but I'm stoked for the next chapter either way.
This series just gets better and better. I'm absolutely loving the plot development around the bijuu. I love the idea of them being far more than simply "monsters to gain power from". That they have their own names may even lead to them having their own culture or backstories.
On a side note, I just wanted to give big props to Kishi for his depictions of Kurama at this point. I love "calm Kyuubi". There's a special look in his eyes when he's not all frazzled and pissed and snarling. He looks like he's a deep thinker; like he's not exactly a fan of the way his life has gone thus far, and it speaks of a deeper reason for wanting to destroy villages or kill people in general. There's a LOT more to Kurama than we know about, and as it seems, this series could go on for quite some time, even on this current arc, simply explaining all of that.
I love a good plot piece, and Kishi is serving up some delicious chicken plot pie right now.
Too bad Kubo can't copy Kishi when setting up long term plot devices and developing characters...
I make a habit of going back and re-reading the manga from scratch about once a year. When I read it again back in October, I was able to piece together a few more "ah! I didn't notice that before!" moments in the manga; usually things that were foreshadowed or alluded to that we didn't know about the first time around. I tried to do it once with Bleach, and, well... no. Not happening.
Bravo, Kishi.
Son Goku and Kurama, nice lmao! I always wondered why was it Shukaku was the only tailed-beast with a name, seemed weird for them not to have one with all kinds of jutsu's slapped with silly ass names lol.
besides 8 tails (up to that point really) was the only biju that really manifested often and since he doesn't sleep i presume he's a chatty mother fucker, on the note with Son i believe he's going to go on the rampage (as we all know tailed beasts aren't stupid he won't just walk free) does anyone else feel like the rest of the tailed beasts names are going to be references to other anime/mangas/Japanese culture (kamen for the beetle one? or maybe metabee)
