Fucking exactly what some have already said and we've been saying for awhile now. The second B and the 8-tails were introduced this was inevitable. Pretty much everyone called it. If anyone thinks its stupid or are surprised by it, I hope you never go into a field of investigative law enforcement.

Yeah, options always were that he either completely takes over the Kyuubi, or he starts to get along with it. And the latter is by far the more interesting plot device.

I'm excited too. The Kyuubi has always been described as a big mass of hate. Well...now he gets to focus that hate through Naruto, working with Naruto, I think it'll be awesome. When I first got into Naruto and watched part 1 of the anime, I always loved when the Kyuubi came into play, the music came on and Naruto just owned some people. And I think we're about to get some of that again.

Sasuke is the cancer on this otherwise brilliant series of arcs. Now that I think about it, I've never really liked his character even a little bit. Sulky little bitch.

eh I think Kishimoto's trying to set up a whole hard work vs easy gain. well, not "trying to", he's done exactly that. Naruto had been hated by everyone in the beginning. he had to work hard and has always worked hard for everything and because of that he's a great stand up guy who doesn't take his strength for granted and tries his damndest to help everyone. whereas sasuke has had everything handed to him so he takes it all for granted and thinks he's the center of the universe. and guess what. he'll keep getting everything handed to him and we'll keep hating him.

What's with all the Sauce hate, the guys becoming a parody of his former self as he descends deeper in the depths of his Uchiha rage.

All he needs to do is kill someone important and seal his own fate. Danzo wasn't exactly an innocent guy so I still see Sasuke as teetering on villainy. Evil Laugh? Check. Mowing down mooks? Check. Monologues about his baw-haw village? Check. Sharingan upgrades? Check. Betraying comrades? Check. Now all he needs is a kill on a through-and-through good individual to battle Tobi for series villain.

Cmon Kishi, don't punk out and have him off Sakura or Bee - the only two people I think would actually snap Naruto out his bromance. I'd say Kakashi or Hinata but they've been thrown into the grinder already back in the Looney Toons Pain arc. Such an action though would be a big enough to send Sauce over the moral event horizon into fodder for a full-powered Naruto/Kyuubi tagteam free of any guilt.

But before any of that we've yet to see Itachi show up and be like "lulz bro, I'm back" followed by Sauce shitting himself. Itachi's such a fucking chessmaster, it's brilliant.

Cmon Kishi, don't punk out and have him off Sakura or Bee

Killing Sakura would make him the series villain in the eyes of those in the Naruto universe.

For me, it'd make him the series hero.

You know who has never technically died and is kind of a boss in Naruto? Shikamaru... I think his number is up pretty soon. He's important but not that important.

I had always thought Sasuke was badass up until he decided to destroy all of Konoha. He busted ass from when he was a kid up until he killed orochi. And even though he was off being trained by the evil sannin, he never killed anyone, spared everyones lives while training and shit. After he learned the truth about Itachi though, he turned into a little bitch. And it only got worse for him (although funny as fuck for us) as he started to get his ass kicked by B, and then the Kages. I think what finally pushed him over the edge into being a true villain was when he killed Danzo by shooting a chidori through karin.

Idk, I don't see shikamaru dying at all. He's supposed to be around to help raise the future generation (Asuma's kid especially). I see him basically turning into his dad and being head jonin or something.

Sauce killing Shikamaru would have zero impact as they never really even got much time together in the spotlight. It'd be like Sauce killing the old guy that serves Naruto ramen. Annoying? Yes. But a ripple in the plot pond.

I default to Sakura partly cause she's done nothing significant, is a part of his original squad, formerly idolized him and would pretty akin to Krillin getting blown up by Frieza back in DBZ. Oh no, I've drawn a parallel to DBZ and I feel bad now so i'll stop.

Bee is the only other person I see getting that level of emotional impact from Naruto as the two have become jinchuriki-in-arms.

I could see Iruka dying. He became mentioned again when he gave Naruto that letter, and he's the closest thing Naruto has had to a parental figure.

I think Kishimoto is too scared to kill off people anymore. Though I'd love to see it. As much as I love Kakashi, I was hoping he stayed dead at a certain point in time.

That could happen. He's too weak to even fight back against any current characters, but the emotional impact would be huge.
