So far since Shippuden started, my count so far is Naruto with 3 upgrades (Sage Mode, 9-tails Chakra mode, and the new possible Kyuubi mode) vs Sasuke also with 3 (Mangekyo, Susanoo and Itachi's eyes/EMS). Even though he only got Susanoo through having the Mangekyo, I'm pretty sure its safe to say its so broken you might as well just classify it on its own.

However the difference being:

Sage mode - Through Hard work
9-tails Chakra - Through Hard work
New Kyubi Mode - Bromance

Vs.

Mangekyo - being an emo bitch
Susanoo - see above
Itachi's eyes/EMS - Drained all his shit/ pretty much a gift from Itachi in a way

In theory, Sasuke is probably due for another upgrade...probably from a box of cracker jacks.

People sure do get mad if you don't eat up a chapter of pound it's and tsundere service. Guess it wasn't enough that we were basically guaranteed this partnership from the beginning, they didn't need to power of friendship the Kyuubi into being a bitch.

Nobody even mentioned Goku bumping Naruto either, who the fuck knows what that was.

why not have a fist? he's been drawn with opposable thumbs and human hands for ages now. If you were expecting him to look more like a 'fox' then you should have had that illusion shattered when he appeared a hundred feet tall with nine giant tails. It's clear he's moving along with Naruto's desire to be more like Bee and his tailed beast. The brofist, while cartoonish, is just an easy way to show the beginnings of such a bond and that it is a mutual relationship rather than an adversarial one for the first time in the series.

He's only ever earned people's respect, it's never been his style to keep others under his thumb, Kurama proved to be no different.

And who says Kurama turned bitch? That's like saying Zabuza turned pussy just because he was convinced by Naruto. Mothafucka was still slicin' bitches up practically with both arms tied behind his back.

Nothing saying Kurama ain't still ready to eat some mothafucka, it's just nice he's finally cooperating with Naruto. We'll get to see some biju/jinchuriki fusion hoe stompin'.

And looking back at the scene with Goku, I got the impression Madara summoned him back before he got the chance to brofist with Naruto.

In a world with chakra, summonable frogs, snake-people, people with the ability to blow up towns, people who can change eye colors without contacts, and big ass animal-like monsters, yes, a fox with fists makes no god damn sense. Also, the Power of Friendship(TM) is a completely new concept in Naruto. I have been blind-sided by this development. I'm mayad.

Page six shows a "Tap!" thing when Goku and Naruto brofist. Same thing happens when Kurama tells Naruto to meld their chakras. I assume the brofist was successful, but who knows what Goku gave Naruto.

You know, it's kind of funny. The Sauce's failure to listen is.. kind of what saved his autonomy. Itachi was pretty much banking on his brother taking his eyes to get the EMS. Tobidara kept urging him to take Itachi's eyes earlier: Had he done that, when he met Naruto after the Danzo fight, Mangekrow would've kicked in.

I assume the brofist was successful, but who knows what Goku gave Naruto.

My guess is that when Naruto and the Sauce fight again, Naruto's going to spit out the monkey from Outbreak to claw off the Sauce's face.
