I don't see Naruto ever becoming Hokage actually. I'd say he will have a great happy ending, but he will pass on Hokage.

I think that if Naruto were to lead a team, everyone would come back alive, considering he'd just kill everyone solo while everyone else cooks dinner for when he comes back. Dude killed all seven Pains by himself - something the entire village couldn't do together. Kakashi got killed in a one-on-one (or was it two-on-one?), and he was considered for the position of Hokage. I think being the front figure in the war should qualify as leadership potential

Naruto didn't kill all 7 pains by himself. He would have been just as dead as Jaraiya if he hadn't been informed on each of the Pain's powers. and he had all those frogs helping him. Add in the fact that Pain didn't want to kill Naruto and that the most troublesome Pain didn't have his power for the majority of the fight. Not to mention he never even fought Nagato, so it's only 6!

Madara gets aced by Sasuke, almost no question.

Sasuke swore bloody vengeance on anyone responsible for the Uchiha massacre, and Madara flatly admitted to assisting Itachi in the slaughter mandated by Danzo and the council. Sasuke extended his vengeance to all of Konoha after learning of Itachi's sacrifice.

Sasuke "killed" Itachi, Danzo, might take care of the council but definitely not the entire village before Naruto and/or Zombie Itachi show him the error of his ways... leaving only Madara.

Just because he allied himself with Madara for revenge on the village doesn't mean Madara's off the hook. In a dramatic turn of events Naruto will persuade Sasuke taking out the village is wrong, where Sasuke will turn around and wrap up the last person left to kill.

I just want to point out, unless you count turning the white Zetsu clones into trees, Naruto hasn't actually killed anyone. The Pain's that he "killed" were all dead to begin with and more or less used as puppets by Nagato. Nagato himself committed suicide by reviving the dead Konoha Shinobi. Kakuzu was killed by Kakashi once and for all.

But looking back, neither Naruto or even Sasuke have killed anyone. Sasuke attempted to kill Karin, but she survived. He attempted to kill Danzou, but Danzou committed suicide. He didn't kill Orochimaru, he absorbed him and when Orochimaru escaped, Itachi ended up sealing him away again. And Deidara also committed suicide. And Itachi died from his disease.

So unless I'm missing someone, neither Naruto or Sasuke have actually killed anyone

naruto left him for dead and kakashi walked up and lighting bladed his face in then 100+ chapters later he came back as a zombie (again) and joined in the fun with the gold and silver brothers

Kakuzu had like 3 hearts left by the time the Rasenshuriken hit, and that took out 2 of the hearts with Kakashi getting the final blow at the end.

Edit: Another good Sasuke not having killed anyone example would be when the timeskip first happened and it shows the panel with him training with Orochimaru with something like 1000 bodies laying around them. Orochimaru specifically says how he didn't kill a single one of them. Of course this is before he takes the big lunge into being a baddy (Aka, when Tobi gets to him)

Didn't the sauce wipe out a bunch of no name Samurai, though? I seem to recall Suigetsu making a big fuss over him mowing them down when he previously said not to kill anyone.

Then there was the one that got ignited by the Amaterasu when he was trying to hit the Brokage.

the one who got hit by the flames had his armor pulled off with chakra strings not to sure about the mowing down team ronin tho

Filler finished 2-3 episodes ago rich. Naruto is starting the training to control the 9tails.

bleeding doesn't mean death but for the sake of this we'll presume they was lethal hits
