I really am beginning to think it's going to pull a star wars on us and Tobi might end up being Sasuke's dad... When the kyuubi attacks the village itachi says something like "Of all the times for mum and dad to be out", kushina bumped into sasuke's mum on the way to give birth and mentioned it, she was the only one shown to talk to her and then mysteriously tobi knew she was giving birth... Zetsu can replace people so the uchiha massacre could be accounted for... Who knows

Just watched the episode; Tobi is totally a white Zetsu clone of someone. I never noticed it in the manga, but went back and read the chapter. Seeing the white goo drip down his arm and his hand detach, plus when he completely detached his own arm fighting Danzo's peeps, he's gotta be a clone of Madara or Madara's brother or something like that. At the very least he's been modified in the same way Zetsu was created and has some similar features. Some interesting possibilities, but I doubt it's Sauce-dad.

Yeah I noticed that, they made it much more pronounced (and gross) in the anime with his hand coming off. He's obviously a big fan of self-experimentation at least.

Bleach is confirmed in the latest chapter, title says last arc. But you know kubo, 6 years for one arc. Dunno about Naruto.

Everyone just keeps saying its ending because it seems a lot of conflicts are coming to a close soon. Madara and Tobi are being fought, Naruto is friends with the fox, and Sasuke is on his way to fuck things up before Naruto wrecks him. They really do seem to be wrapping things up, but I haven't seen one announcement of them ending things anytime soon, and I'm sure there's plenty of ways for them to continue the story.

There was an interview recently done by SJAlpha (the new NA weekly releasers of Jump online) with Kishimoto saying the story was near to reaching it's climax:

Of course, climax implies near the end, and considering all the plot progress that's happened vs all that's left to wrap up, it was safe to assume the story is going to end sooner rather than later without the interview. And of course, by soon, it could still mean 2 or 3 years, lol

Their will be no baby. No way will Naruto will be alive after stomping Sasuke/Tobi. He'll save the ninja world then posthumously become honorary kage of all nations, or something like that.

I think it's adorable that you think anyone of any consequence will die in this manga. Even Itachi didn't stay dead for christsake. Im half expecting Jiraiya to show up later and marry Tsunade so they can have the super happy ending.
