It's not a Sasuke moment without him being useless and loosely trying to justify his terribad motives. Sooo tired of everyone wanting to be hias friend so badly despite what a dick he is.

Does this confirm the real white Zetsu's dead by the way? That one says something about sasuke killing the original. No idea whether that means anything, but we know black zetsu's fucked too. Tobi really would've lost this war horribly if it wasn't for Kabuto, I'm hoping he gets finished off soon and Kabuto takes over really.

His character should have progressed with his encounter with Itachi and then Tobi's revelation, but instead he kept his same old obsession and just changed the target. I get that Kishi is using Sasuke to show the evils of revenge, but it's boring after all this time. All we ever see Sasuke do is be mad, mope, and/or stomp some scrub we don't care about. Honestly at this point I find Suigetsu a lot more interesting.

We've gotten more development out of comparatively new characters like Killer A and Nagato.

Pretty much. The only potential Sasuke showed for progression was the stretch between the Land of Waves and Chunin Exam, where it seemed as though he'd come to value his teammates and respect Naruto. Of course, shortly thereafter, he completely backtracked.

You act as if the hate for Sasuke is a new development that took ten years. The character has always been a douchebag and his presence in a chapter would always drag the manga down. The best chapter with Sasuke I can recall in recent memory was probably the one where he got his chest blown the fuck off by Killer B. Not a good look obviously.

You can bring in all the Bleach analogy you want because fuck, at this point Chad > Sasuke. At least he provides lulz whenever he's one-shotted.

Sasuke hasn't progressed... at all. If anything, he's regressed to that of a whiny bitch who doesn't know how to open his eyes. As mentioned.. he's been all 'own village of the leaf, revenge, wah wah wah'.. he wanted revenge against Itachi, got it, found out 'oops, Itachi was doing things for the good of me'.. wants to kill Naruto, wants to destroy the village.

Same old same old, just different objectives. It's tiresome.

Progression was the wrong word to use, I meant to say at least he, as a character, evokes emotions from the reader, whether positively or negatively. Is he a useful character? That remains to be seen until the end of the manga.

Sasuke might be fucking horrible now, but he wasn't bad up until after the Itachi fight. Up until that fight, he wouldn't kill anyone, his only target was Itachi, and for good reason. He also trained a fuckton, and we could see him progress as well as watch him show off his superior strategies in fights.

Unfortunately, after Tobi got to him, he's done nothing to become stronger aside from getting cheap power ups handed to him, and has cried about hating Konoha for being happy. Oh boo fucking hoo, my brother died to protect this town and keep people happy, I love him so much that im going to go shit all over his dreams and make his sacrifice fucking worthless.
