I haven't watched the Naruto anime since the Sand & Sound invaded Konoha way back when. This last episode makes me want to watch it again though, since this part in the manga was one of my favorites and I knew it'd be pretty crazy once they got to it in the anime.

Oh wow, really? You need to go back and watch the last main arc up until the fillers start around 135. There's some really good fights in between then. Also, there's been one good fight in Shippuuden (Chiyo/Sakura v. Sasori) that you should check out.

Fucking HAET Sakura. I will never watch her in a fight unless she ends up dying. I've watched the decently animated fight scenes throughout on Stage6 and Youtube, so I don't really need to go back and check anything else out I guess. Since I've started reading the manga I can't stand watching the anime.

Only the fights that are epic in the manga I'll bother watching in the anime, because chances are if it was epic in the manga, it'll probably be animated well enough to not blow like the rest of the episodes. Sasuke vs Naruto anime episode was "flawless" as far as I'm concerned as far as animation goes in the series. This Kyuubi'ish Naruto vs Orochimaru fight in the manga was insane, so.. it better be fucking orgasmic.

Those high lvl jutsu or summoning skills are some of the best parts of Naruto. I really liked how there was a lot of it when Orochimaru and the 4th? hokage fought each other.

Aside from that, I think this episode was good but not great, it seemed pretty slow with the actual fighting.

There isn't any actual melee in this part if I remember correctly. It's just jutsu vs. jutsu.

Haha. Yeah, I hate her too in general. Her crying shit drove her popularity level for me waaaay down during the first part of Naruto and all throughout. I got sick of her Sasuke fangirling. You like him, we get it, now shut the fuck up. I do agree with Bart though. You should at least watch the Sakura/Chiyo vs. Sasori. It's just as much Chiyo in that fight as it is Sakura.


Also, it was Orochimaru/Shodaimie (1st)/Nidaime (2nd) versus Sandaime (3rd)

I'd say that is the best fight of Shippuuden so far, but the best Naruto fight is hands down episode 133, Fox-chakra Naruto vs. Sasuke.

And if we want to talk about the manga, Shikamaru fights are always epic.
