Meh it's one jutsu and the fights over pretty quick. I personally thought sasuke vs deidara was way better.

Neji vs. Kidoumaru (pretty much any of the Sound vs. Leaf ninja fights) > Naruto vs. Sasuke > Sasuke vs. Deidara > Shikamaru vs. Hidan > anything else... I'd maybe put Pain vs. Jiraiya in there somewhere near the top if it didn't lead to Jiraiya's death (even though I was happy when it was finally done with).

Are those belts that the Sound ninja (Orochimaru) wear, the ones that look like thick ropes tied into bows that stick up in the back, supposed to represent something, have a function, or are they just an odd uniform?

I hated early Sakura. But post time-skip Sakura is alright. She's no longer a Sasuke fangirl which was the biggest thing I didn't like about her, she's a lot more mature in how she thinks about Sasuke.

This episode was good, I suck at picturing fights in manga/comic form so I like seeing it animated. Some parts felt a little slow but eventually it did seem like it was going at a good speed. Had some good animation in there too. I can't wait to see the rest of this fight...and the next arcs fight...and the next...damn...

this is true, but i like seeing training and how they come up with new jutsu the most. so seeing the culmination of his training like that with the jutsu only 50% done being as strong as it is was awesome to me.

jiraiya had it right when he said training a genius would be boring, it's the same while watching one fight

Some Naruto spoilers from the new chapter.

* The Itachi that Sasuke stabbed was an illusion and Sasuke was aware of this.
* Itachi brings up the name of another Uchiha who was also involved in the murder of the clan, Uchiha Madara
* Sasuke then taunts Itachi to use the Mangekyou on him
* Itachi explains that the Mangekyou is eyes that control the Nine-tails at the cost of one's eyesight
* And then reveals that Madara was the first person to awaken the eyes, thus ending the chapter.

Nice stuff there, and no. I haven't tried the episode. Gonna wait and stream it. I don't bother downloading any of them much anymore, lol.

bleh. so the last chapter was completely pointless in every aspect. yeah yeah i knew the fight couldnt have ended that fast. but i really hoped it did.
this manga would be so much better if the 2main characters didnt exist.
