In all seriousness, why didn't she get that training when Naruto went off for frog training? I think it's a shame that she's had literally no development at all (even slightly) since the timeskip, and even then she pretty much was someone else's tool in her only fight. She was meant to be super good at chakra control, seems like the kind of training that would suit her well.

Your speculation is on the basis that everyone with a binding contract to a summon has to go to their homeland for training. If that's the case, Kakashi has a sage mode for the dogs he has and Gai has one for the turtles. Also keep in mind, when shit got real for Jiraya, he used his sage abilities so don't you think Tsunade would be using it right now?

Not at all. Especially since neither Jman or Orochi ever successfully mastered their sage modes lol. But with 3 sage villages (1 frog and 1 snake so far), are you really not thinking that the 3rd one will be slugs?

Of the 2 currently known places we've had 2 very clear pretexts. Orochi's came first apparently when he and Sasuke went at it and he turned into the white snake itself. The second was Jirayah where he fought Pein. On both accounts nothing was said of their "sage" upbringing til after the fact (Orochi being now apparently). Aside from speculating and hoping, what would lead me to believe that the 3rd place is slug? What has Tsunade or the Slug summon (which we've only seen twice (kid Naruto and Pein)) shown us that would make you say "yeah, that sounds about right"?

So Kabutochimaru only got that strong because of DNA manipulation to himself, by DNAs from Karin, Jugo and Suigetsu and by masterign Snake (dragon) sage mode? When did he fucking find the time to do all that shit seriously ¬.¬? Didnt Naruto allready need a shitton of Time to master Sage mode and thats with shadowclones helping him to train/learn faster! This is kind of unrealistic. Every ninja would have huge problems against 1 susanoo yet kabutochimaru is facing 2 of them and is still alive ¬.¬ (while still keeping control of the undead-revive Jutsu).

Because Orochimaru is fucking broken and had almost every hax ever. Kabuto has only done what Orochimaru's work has done, aside from finding the snake place. I'm sure Orochimaru did all the experiments on Jugo, Karin, and Suigetsu He just never applied them to his own body because he still never has achieved the perfect body he wanted. Kabuto on the other hand has no interest in finding an "ultimate body" so he just applied all of Orochimaru's hacks into his own body which he probably accomplished by just injecting himself with some syringe.
and you are forgetting he doesn't have to put any concentration into Edo Tensai. Even if he dies, the jutsu goes on and I would assume its really hard to concentrate when youre dead. He can concentrate more and assume direct control over a body, but as he's done the majority of the war, he just gave the body orders to attack the other ninja.

I assumed Kabuto had some Sage shenanigans after about the third time he said he had the power of Nature.

Kabuto really doesn't need to control the few that are left unsealed. We fully don't understand what goes into Edo, could be that once you summon them, there is no longer a chakra drain from the summoner. There also is the lack of knowing exactly what experiments Kabuto has been doing to himself, or how to judge how strong this sage mode is. Look at Naruto and Pein.

Naruto couldn't use clones during his sage training. And in terms of time, you have to remember the last time you saw Kabuto. It was when Orochi was killed by Sasuke. To be frank, he's probably had more time to go through his sage training than Naruto. We can say safely that Naruto's "complete" training and mastery over his sage mode was cut short.

I still agree with you though. That would mean that at those times, Kabuto was: melding his DNA with Orochi and possibly Sasuke's crew, mastering the upgraded Edo Tensai, finding DNA samples for his upgraded Edo Tensai, and preparing a backup plan(s) for fighting Tobi. He's been 1 busy mother fucker for less than probably 6 months.
