zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I didn't think it was bad. If the last 3 chapters werent such a waste anyways. At least the backstory should be over now.
Well, at least this chapter gave a timeline on crap nobody really cared about anymore. That's something I guess.
This actually enhances my appreciation for Orochimaru. He was so mad scientist.
Drip, drip, drip.
Plot aside, I enjoyed the constant reinforcement and the focusing on the fact that the IV represented both Kabuto and Oro's desires to find "new" selves. Ironically, Kabuto's turned out to physically be dumping every spare bit of Orochoimaru into the giant vat and pumping himself up, but metaphorically, every new mission and new bit of information he collected slowly brought him into his new "self".
How many goddamned fuckups does Danzo keep making?
Ever since he's been introduced he's pretty much been the crutch of Konoha's shady side.
At least there can't be another week of ZzZzZz...right?!
Was a good chapter I thought. Good backstory for a very interesting character. Just sucks that we've had to wait like a month now for them to get back to the goddamn fight.

Why would anyone think a back story on Itachi would be ZZZzzzZZ?
Because we pretty much know all we need to know about Itachi. I mean, I guess you can do a few flashbacks concerning his entrance into Akatsuki but I personally don't find that interesting. Actually, I take it back, his relationship with Shisui would be pretty nice to see. The guy is the most important no line having, only one panel ever seen character in shonen history lol.
Dat Crow all day!
The flash back with him is inevitable to say the least. Things I want to have known though would his interactions with Danzo and Sarutobi (i.e: where his loyalty resided), Shisui (as Kiaza brought up (DAT CROW!)) and the obvious interactions with Tobi. Also, similar to how Orochi scouted Kabuto from an early age, wouldn't it be safe to assume that Tobi also scouted Itachi as well. Kids with awesome potential always stand out and Itachi was no exception to that.
With this much time dedicated to Kabuto I am leaning toward him becoming the main villain or something radical happening to him. Death would not make sense after dedicating this much to his character, we aren't sympathizing anymore we are getting a background so we can understand a future motivation.
It's mostly Kishimoto reinforcing that line the Raikage spoke during the Kage Summit, about Danzo representing the darkness of the shinobi world. We got a hint of it in Pain's origin (Danzo's alliance w/Hanzo), and of course, Danzo's engineered extermination of the Uchiha.
We're just seeing more support for his and Madara's shared philosophies being the cause of theworld they live in.
