If we start from Naruto, I will say you have lost your mind. Kakashi gaiden was great after valley of the end fight then shippuuden couldn't ask for much more. Valley of end fight was great f..k that the first time Jiraiya went against Kisame and Itachi was great series of chapters. I can't think of a single bad chapter in that fight, watching sasuke get manhandled by big brother was well worth it.

I would go on with Naruto Shippuuden but right now can't remember all the s..t that happened during the fights and how long the but can't been watching all of the shippuuden series lately so might put filler in there on accident so won't mention it lol.

I thought I was gonna hate it, but the chapter was actually well done to me. I enjoyed Itachi schooling Sasuke, plus also shows motives as to why Itachi did things the way he did which is always great imo. Character growth from a dead character, only kishi can do such things lol.

Hopefully it rubs off on Sasuke. I was a little confused about the two fodder ninja though. Was that supposed to be in the past, representing something? I thought it meant Kabuto always had people waiting for him, but I didn't really get the point to it.

That's Kabuto's brother from the orphanage all grown up, he's fighting in the war now but is still waiting for Kabuto to come back. It's not that hard to comprehend, at all.

I thought it was a previous war. He had a leaf headband on instead of an alliance one.

Although he did mention they were allies lol.

i have to say i know this kabuto hijinx has taken 5+ weeks now but i am actually enjoying the back story, its pretty sad tho since Kabuto only wanted a family and he actually had a family waiting for him, just Roots destroying more lives over and over again, my god that Danzo needs to win biggest Cunt of the Ninja world award

If something bad is happening in the ninja-world the most likely explanation is Danzo did it.

Danzo is Oda Nobunaga.

Also, Mangekrow was mentioned indirectly in the chapter. Chapter is awesome on that alone.

While it was an error the headband helped sort of bring the point home that the guy was probably referencing Kabuto since he was a Leaf ninja, and we know that the orphanage was at least in the Leaf's sphere of influence since Danzo was able to get what he wanted from there. Considering where the scene was going I didn't have a hard time deducing who that was when I reread the same page a 2nd time.

It's not really world wars you were seeing. I think of it more like the level of war you saw during the cold war where each side fought over land in an unrelated nation's territory. We didn't think of it as a "real" war since the two main nations didn't attack each other directly but if you were in Asia or Central/South America you would think the entire planet was at war.
TLDR Rain country was Vietnam and that's why it seems to you that the ninjas had alot of world wars.

I'm not quite sure since you've given me some doubts but I think there's only been two "great ninja wars." We're currently watching the second. I had thought they specifically mentioned it was the second one back when it first started. All the other skirmishes i've seen were "just" normal wars.

Just checked the wiki, This is the 4th World war.

First World War was when Hiruzen became Hokage.

Second has 3 sannin vs. Hanzo.

3rd took place during Kakashi Gaiden.

4th is current arc.

So 4 World wars in the past 50ish years lol (guessing 50 by Hiruzen's approximate age).

If anyone is an equivalent of Oda Nobunaga, it's Madara.

Nobunaga doesn't manipulate shit in the shadows, he just went around kicking asses and taking name until he got betrayed
