I loved the whole "Crazy Itachi" being apart of what Sasuke saw in him with the Sharingan and not his actual reaction. That whole part was pretty cool to me.

Younger Madara/brother of Madara were pretty nifty too, and the shot of the 1st and Madara together was awesome. Great chapter in the history of Naruto.

Personally, if my older brother told me to go get the Mangekyou Sharingan so he could rip my eyes out, I'm pretty sure I know what I wouldn't be doing.

It just doesn't seem smart to me for Itachi to tell Sasuke about it his plan if he wasn't about to bring it to its conclusion.

Unless he's saying, "Hey Sasuke, I know you know about the Mangekyou Sharingan making you blind, so now you can go out and get it without worry about being blind" and he's counting on the fact that Sasuke thinks he'll somehow be able to beat him?

Which is completely retarded, Itachi should be able to beat Sasuke with no effort whatsoever, but they'll somehow make Sasuke beat him because he's one of the main characters.

Sasuke didn't have the Sharingan, Mangekyou isn't required obviously because now Sasuke could easily just not get it. The Mangkeyou is unique to the Uchiha that uses it so simply getting another Sharingan set of eyes allows the user to get the Mangekyou back.

They could even organize a three way trade- Sasuke gives his eyes to Itachi, Itachi gives them to Sasuke, and Sasuke trades an Itachi eye for Kakakshi's Obito eye.
