Sasuke is relatively normal, all things considered. His entire clan/family was murdered by his older brother, when he was a child, he's been used and manipulated into killing more people, even his own brother. The kid hasn't had a normal life since birth.

God those dubs are just awful, but yes I can sort of sympathise with that, doesn't change the fact that his thought process is fucked up. If he wanted to get revenge on someone, why not target the evil bastard who openly admitted to assisting in the murder of his family to his face and Itachi obviously wanted dead.

I suppose at this point he and Tobi have gone their seperate ways and don't really have any use of each other so might not even meet again.

kishi is gonna pull out a jiraya and let the sannins handle madara because the kages failed! With an epic fight where the Sannins die an epic death. Calling it now!

Except, aren't the Kages suppose to be more powerful than the Sannins? And the kages are getting an ass whoopin so far sooooo yeahhhhh

And, while as boss as he is, considering one of the current kages is Gaara. .

I know LOL power levels in any series, since that's thrown to the wind frequently, but still. People have mentioned how powerful Jiraiya was: Itachi said earlier on in the series that while he and Kisame probably could have beat him, they'd end up losing their lives in the process. Even Pain, with his Rinnegan hax, noted that he would have lost if Jiraiya had figured out the secret of the bodies earlier.

I always thought of the Sannin title as a Kage level shinobi that didn't hold the position.

I don't think the title means anything other then the 3 shinobi from konoha who were bad ass mutha fuckers. The phrase literally means 3 people, figured the sannin were just the strongest ninja of their field/time, just like the 3rd was, 1st was, etc etc. I don't think the fight would be any different if the sannin were fighting madara instead of the 5 kage, assuming no silly shenanigans.

the lord of that rain village gave them the title for surviving the battle with him (as fucked up as the salamander lord got towards the end in earlier life he was a very honorable man)

The kage is just the leader of the village. It's supposed to be represented by the strongest in the village, but someone could take the position as much through political maneuvering as actual strength--that's kind of what Danzo did, and his strength is arguble.

Though it's rather likely, simply being a kage doesn't explicitly make one stronger than the Sannin.

Sannin was nothing other than a complement imparted by one of the strongest ninja's of the time. As a combined force I can imagine fight the 3 of them would have been a frightening proposition because they would have likely been such a well synchronized team. I think in all honesty that's some what the issue with the Kages vs Madara is that they obviously aren't used to fighting together. As with many high powered heroes they probably have to be careful to not put the others at risk using certain techniques.

It's hard to know but I think a good way to defeat Madara is the Death God Seal. The only thing is I'm not sure if anyone learned it. History loves to repeat itself though so it would be somewhat fitting.
