A) She doesn't look middle-aged, just high 20's, which, to little 14-year-old shonen Japanese boys, must be ancient.

I thought for the last few months this might be what happens, but after this chapter, I don't think it'll go down like that. Who knows, Kishi might be an incredible troll, but to tease about Tobi's identity again just feels like we'll finally know in the next handful of chapters. Naruto will crush his mask, Kakashi and Guy will have an oshit moment, and while they're stunned by who Tobi actually is, he'll end up killing Guy. Then comes Tobi's (three chapter) monologue and flashback.

Hmm.. my guess is:

1) Tobidara didn't actually know how to do Edo Tensei (remember, Kabuto had to explain this technique to him)

2) Kabuto was holding all the cards with Edo Tensei: It's likely that Tobidara didn't even know he was holding Kinkaku/Ginkaku in reserve (remember -- he mainly showcased the dead Akatsuki members and real Madara)

3) Assuming that he did know Edo Tensei, he may not have had the means to resurrect the two brothers. Kabuto even mentioned that he wasn't entirely sure when he was digging up graves if he was getting the right materials.

It's also unlikely that Kabuto would just hand the bros over to him, considering that the Infinite Tsukuyomi's counterproductive to his goals.

I wish they'd just fucking reveal who Tobi is already. Build-up chapter was annoying. Could've just easily ended it with the mask shattering, then the identity reveal.

There is a very logical and well hidden reason why Tobi has kept his mask on and his identity so well guarded. The reason why he continues to hide his mask, keep his real persona a secret, is also as simple as it is complicated and Kishimoto has hinted at it heavily throughout the entire series, even from the very first page of the very first chapter. He is not afraid to show who he really is, but he must keep it a secret because it will bring about shattering consequences to the entire ninja world. When Tobi is revealed, there will only be 2, 3, 4 chapters at most left until the Naruto manga ends because there will be nothing left to happen or discuss because Tobi's roots are so dark and ancient that he begun it all, and it will all end with him. There will be no going back. Tobi is phone.
