For the road to ninja movie, I'm really hoping for some Jiraiya.
For the road to ninja movie, I'm really hoping for some Jiraiya.
Seems like the flick gives Naruto his parents, I'd be very surprised if he didn't get his god-father back as well.
If he is back, he won't be Pervy Sage version Jiraiya. Probably some saintly, sworn off the ladies version.
He and Orochimaru will be married. Since a monogamous relationship with a male is the opposite of Jaraiya, and Orochimaru's bizarro version has a thing for old guys instead of kids.
5th page of the chapter:
Spoiler: show
Ah thanks! I didn't even notice him reaching out for his bag, thought he was just deep in thought.
Over 1.5 years is surprising.. I was sure this was the last arc. I guess the real Madara will be the next villain? :/
Also, this is from an actual deadpool comic.

I don't understand why people assume that the end of the story always comes instantly after the climax, or that this manga was going to end soon after this fight. The climax could be in the dead center of the story, like a pyramid /\. People have been saying all along that he could milk the naruto/sasuke or hokage or back-to-the-village-now-that-there-is-peace shit forever.
There doesn't need to be another "villain" to extend the story. With holidays, movies, post-war shit, or even a time-skip to the future, I wouldn't be surprised if 1.5yrs was lowballing it.
I said the same thing awhile ago about how there are still so many chapters left. But yeah, 1~2 years seems right. Around 70~80 chapters to wrap up this current fight, wrap up real Madara, cover the jyuubi, cover this whole Orochimaru coming back bit, cover Sasuke vs Naruto, and dealing with the ending/epilogue. Honestly, looking at all that content, and potential content that could be extended from those bits, and the pace Kishi goes at, 1.5 years seems really optimistic. Could easily be a couple years unless he amps up the pace
It's definitely the climax though, or at least reaching it. There's nothing but big fights left, each one bigger then the last. Besides making money, what would be the point in stretching out the story by randomly introducing a new villain? Unless Kishi for some reason decides to do another timeskip with Naruto taking a Kakashi role and having 3 genin's of his own.
And people assume the end comes after the climax, because in good writing, it usually does >_>
Just look at the Majin Boo saga, a perfect example of why stretching out a story is dumb.
...SSJ3 Goku was the shit though. So was Majin Vegeta. And so was their big fight
Filler is already over was just an episode and a kind of promo for the new movie, just like rock lee spinoff
Madara is most definitely the last major villain, with orochi/sasuke as minor annoyances depending on where that story goes. We'll probably see an end to the real fighting in 6 or so months, then a few more to tie up sasukes main gripes. Then all the aftermath stuff for another 3 or 4 months.
80 chapters isnt very much.
80 chapters ago was just about when this war was starting.
are we still allowed to link to fansub sites?
a new naruto chapter is out, the "Naruto Movie Special" tie in.
Not sure if it counts for this week's normal chapter or not.
