Why are you guys even arguing this? The Sauce can use Susanoo. A technique which has been described as needing Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi to activate.
A+B = C so therefore The Sauce has both A and B.

My bad on that, Eurell. Although:
Wasn't it stated somewhere (if not by Itachi himself) that only someone who shares the same blood as him can break out of his Tsukuyomi?Sasuke, using nothing but a normal sharingan, beat Itachi's tsukiyomi. He's an expert, and with his lesser weapon, beat Itachi the novice, according to Zetsu. Theres always the option that Itachi lost on purpose, but we can only go by what has been said.
Did everyone forget that Sasuke'd already been subjected to Tsukiyomi twice before they fought? It put him in a friggin' coma the last two times Itachi used it on him.
That he finally beat Tsukiyomi the third time doesn't mean he's a master of genjutsu we've seen him use only a few times. It stands to reason he'd have developed a certain resistance to that kind of torture, especially because he's Uchiha.
WHERES THIS WEEKS CHAPTERR
came out saturday

It came out about 11 minutes after your post. Lol.
Wouldn't he also know Tobi could phase out of the flames? It was just a last ditch attempt to keep Tobi away from Sasuke.
I took this to mean "Only the superior Uchiha clan can break out of a genjutsu like Tsukiyomi"
And I took what Sasuke said to Itachi at face value. I'm not a genjutsu specialist but I hate you and I know what techniques you use so I am prepared to counter them all. So he "overcame" Tsukiyomi, that doesn't mean he's as potent of a genjutsu user.
I'm pretty sure that way of thinking is incorrect. There was only one situation where Sasuke said something that could be interpreted to make it work like that, but I think it was only because of a not perfect translation.
How is this not obvious? It's been mentioned and linked multiple times now, are you ignoring it on purpose?I'm not saying he doesn't have a ms genjutsu, but if he does it hasn't been made obvious

Having ignored most of the posts for the last while (there have been a lot of debate....a LOT), it seems like the obvious answers are that to activate Susanoo, you need to have activated both MS abilities the user has at some point to just unlock it. And after having used it enough, you can activate it without having to have used both A and B MS skills. Is it related directly to Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi? Did Madara use either of those when he unleashed his full blown Susanoo? I don't recall him doing so
As far as who has what skills, wouldn't it make sense that brothers have similar abilities? Both Sasuke and Itachi have the 2 same MS abilities, but where Itachi excelled in Tsukuyomi, Sasuke excelled in Amaterasu. They both have both the same MS abilities, but Itachi being a beast is able to use Tsukuyomi much better considering he's just a hell of a lot better at Genjutsu, and Sasuke doesn't really use Genjutsu as excessively.
No, not ignoring you. I do answer but then you ignore my answer. I meant to say, as I did before, "I'm not saying he doesn't have Tsukiyomi, but if he does it hasn't been made obvious". In any instance of us witnessing tsukiyomi, it was made obvious what was going on. Sasuke has never had one of those moments. This is the only reason I say he might not/probably does not have it. That's one point I'm trying to make.
Second point is, just because some one is casting a genjutsu while using MS, doesn't mean it's Tsukiyomi. For instance, Danzo's two body guards were taken hostage by Tobi and put into a comatose state via genjutsu, but the dude obviously does not have Tsukiyomi (or else he would have used it already duh). I think we can use the same reasoning for Madara and Tsukiyomi (why bother with wood clones and Susanoo when you can wood clone and Tsukiyomi for the instant win?).
So, to make myself clear so we don't go in circles for another few pages, yes the Sauce has genjutsu, and more then likely has one that can only be used while using MS. No, it is not obvious that it is Tsukiyomi, not because there is proof that the genjutsu is something else, but that there is no proof that it is tsukiyomi (we shouldn't assume things especially when they go against everything we've been shown about the technique already).
Lastly, it doesn't make sense for every MS to have Tsukiyomi, or for that matter Amaterasu. We know every eye has it's own unique ability (or shared ability from the same Uchiha), and we have never seen any one except Itachi or Sasuke use either one of those two abilities. Again, no reason to assume every one can use them. If you're wondering why Madara can use Susanoo then, it's because it's an ability you gain after unlocking MS in both your eyes, kinda like a bloodline limit inside a bloodline limit. If you're confused about that, or are asking why I even make the distinction between unlocking MS in one eye or both, it's because we've been shown that the eyes don't develop at the same time (Sasuke had 2 Tomoes in one eye, and 1 Tomoe in his other eye when he first unlocked his sharingan, so the eyes aren't always connected). I don't think we need to go that deep into though, but the precedent is there already. It's more likely though that the reason we see every MS user build up to Susanoo is cause the individual eye techniques aren't are chakra intensive as Susanoo, so try and kill em with the small stuff before bringing out the big guns.
This I agree with. If anything, I would boldly say that Susanoo is the only shared MS ability, while each MS eyes have their own abilities that both must be used to achieve Susanoo. Sasuke and Itachi share the same or similar abilities because they're brothers which makes it not a stretch at all that they'd have similar/the same abilities.
Kiski probably didn't even know wtf he was doing when he made the databooks, hasn't he retconned them before any ways?
If that's what was in the post I probably wouldn't have responded to it lol. I only responded because it said it wasn't obvious that he used a MS-onry genjutsu.I meant to say "I'm not saying he doesn't have Tsukiyomi, but if he does it hasn't been made obvious".
You made a big long post for no raison.
Oh, I guess I was incorrect then. I don't think I've ever bothered to read any of the databooks lol. Is finding them as simple as googling them, or are there any sites you know of that have them all nice and stuffs? He's referencing that databooks which say Susano comes from Amaterasu and Tsukiyomi, which makes sense with the mythology behind the names.
