That does bug me, why couldn't sakura have carried on developing past her fight with Ino like a million chapters ago? She could've become a badass slug sage woman beating the shit out of people with her bare fists. As it is, she looks to be the only one of the kids who's completely outdone by her mentor and is destined to be a shit healer on the backline does nothing but whine about a guy who never showed any indication of actually liking her.

there was a pillar of hope after shippuuden started, when Sakura could smash everyone to shit and was an awesome medical ninja + immense strength (even tough she is actually a genjutsu type ninja)... but that faded away
