I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that the masked man with long hair was madara, but short hair was obito. Even then it doesn't really make sense because everyone else looks the same age as they were when they died with edo tensei so Madara would look like an old fuck (Onoki or whatever his name is even said something like "I've lived way longer than you"), unless Kabuto somehow did revert him to his 'prime' age.

As for Obito's strength, it's obvious that there's a lot going on we don't know about yet. For one thing he's at least partially made up of the same shit as zetsu, which could be something madara did to save his life in exchange for using his OP hax space-time eyes to work for him.

At this point I would've prefered Izuna, though.

Edit: Should also note that now we can compare, white zetsu does look like a grass-type Tobi.

Everyone thought he died during the fight with the Hokage. He still died soon after it though as he hasn't aged much since then. Edo still brings you back at the age you died, like Chiyo.

I'm giving this a bit more to play out. The reveal was totally lame and called out right when the character was introduced though.

that we now know it is definetly Obito harsh comments to posts that "suggested" it back then "it could be Obito" seem out of place. But this is the internet so if you really tgake offense to people saying basically "fak u" to your Theory then you have some other issues.
Come to think of it i wonder how many people are going to bash this Series now because it has a oh-so-easy-known-Twist.

Shit chapter I agree, but to be fair it can't actually be Obito. 16 years ago when he fought Yondaime he would have been the same dumb kid, unless he has time-travel-no-jutsu. So Obito is a vessel of some kind.

I like my theory no-jutsu over this shit. Hell, i would have also like random person no-jutsu over this. Such a let down... almost as if Kishi simply played it up to fan's bullshit ideas to make them happy. I'll still be reading to see how Kishi pulls this off afterwards, lol. Most likely time-travelling anyways.

Suddenly I remember most shonen cannot be epically advanced manga. Must be simple.

Most people based their argument off of Obito and Tobi having similar hairsytle once the "Who's Tobi" question was raised. And yet, everyone forgot this nigga had long assed hair back in the days.

And I seem to remember one other person believing Tobi was Obito simply because Tobi is an anagram of Obito, but that was so long ago (almost 3 years).

i did not like the possibility that is would be Obito at all. As it stands for now we have to wait for an explanation. I really liked the chapter though. No words used except at the end. All very clever positioned flashbacks till the reveal at the end.
I Like that chapter a lot.

The only real argument for all of this bullshit is that he somehow mastered space-time ninjutsu to the point where he could move through time and rearrange history to his liking. However, even that sounds like bullshit.

Ok, let's lay out the facts.

Obito is "killed" during the war, it doesn't matter what age he was. We know he is Kakashi's age, give or take.

Naruto start year; ie. first episode
Naruto 12
Sasuke 12
Itachi 17
Kakashi 26

The events of Itachi killing the entire clan happened 5 years before the start of the series;
Kakashi 21
Naruto 7
Sasuke 7
Itachi 12 (he bested his entire clan when he was 12, the same age Sasuke and Naruto would barely piss without assistance)

The events of Tobi/Obito's attack on Konoha happened 12 years before the start, when Naruto was born:
Kakashi 14

The chuunin exams happened around the same time I would assume, to team 7, ie. when they were 12. This means that the war, Tobi's death and revival all happened during the 2 year period between the chuunin exams and Tobi's attack.

There is definitely going to be some explaining next week, if it doesn't cut back to madara fight anyway.

if Minato was not yet Hokage in the older flashback where Obito "died" then why is Minato's Face allready on the Wall of the Hokages?
