This reveal was actually legitimate bullshit in many people's eyes. Not that any of us care anymore, Kishi still writes a better story than Kubo at the end of the day. And people were discussing what's going on instead of complaining (mostly).

I don't know if you missed it, but the word "Tobi" was trending for a day and a half after the chapter release, so this is a big deal around the world.

Finally getting around to watching the war arc animated but I got a question, was it ever answered to why Naruto can use clones while in tailed beast mode? Eight tails tells him he'd die instantly with the nine-tails absorbing all his chakra. The second he gets out on the battlefield though its BAM, ass load of clones.

Obvious this is before Naruto and Kurama were on the same page.

Kurama hinted at the fact that he was giving him help with his chakra needs but no it was never OUTRIGHT said. This was during a quick conversation between Kurama and Gyu right before Naruto and him got on the "bros b4 hoes" bandwagon.

If Naruto dies, Kurama dies, though this is assumed only to be in terms of fatal circumstances, such as being beheaded. If Naruto runs out of his own chakra due to Kurama sucking it all up, Kurama essentially takes over. Kurama, however, wants to see where Naruto is going with all of this; wants to see if he can back up what he says, and, its implied, but also wants to see if Naruto is the reincarnation, essentially, of the Sage of Six Paths, Kurama's "father". Once Naruto defeats Kurama and assumes his current form, its pretty obvious that when Kurama looked in Naruto's eyes, he was intrigued enough to consider something of the sort.

The latest anime ep. actually lends a bit more credance to this, especially when you consider Naruto's line about considering Kurama as somewhat of a father-figure due to him always watching over Naruto - whether by force or by choice - and due to him knowing more about Naruto than anyone else, which is absolutely true. Naruto obviously cares about Kurama, and, despite Kurama being extremely bitter and antithetical towards humanity for them constantly misusing bijju, feels an afinity towards Naruto. The kid's been through a lot and has overcome a lot.

TL;DR, Kurama isn't sucking out Naruto's chakra anymore. He soaked up enough to regain his normal form, but isn't constantly leeching Naruto's chakra like Bee was afraid he would. He still trys to play tsundere about it and claim that its only because he can't stand Madara, but it goes far beyond that.

Edit: Lol, holy shit about Sakura. She seriously figured it out back then, but Kishi (or any other Japanese man) doesn't have the balls to let a woman stand on their own unless its for a single chapter or arc, sooooo...

I didn't know this content was even around 5 years ago. Am I missing something? The first Akatsuki I remember was that exploding dude obsessed with art, and his partner with the 5 hearts, that went to that place to sell a body for its reward. Was that really so long ago?

I think the tailed beasts revive if they are within their hosts when the hosts die, although it takes a period of time for this to happen. Kushina had planned to die with Kurama inside of her in order to buy "some time" before Kurama would be free again. I don't remember it being said anywhere else that the circumstances of a host's death affects the revival.

Deidara > sasori (The Artiest) Hidan > Kakuzu (The Immortals) Itachi Uchiha > Kisame Hoshigaki (The Assassins) Pain > Konan (The Childhood friends) Orochimaru was the first partner of Sasori (i suppose science in its own right is a kind of art?) then once Sasori got sakura smashed he was replaced by tobi

the Akatsuki was started by Yahiko Nagato and Konan despite how Tobi/Obito claims he was the one who started it

The first Akatsuki members to make an appearance were Itachi and Kisami in chapter 141 of the original Naruto manga.
Chapter 141 came out roughly on 10/21/2002
