Madara & his brother have different eyes, their Sharigan don't look the same, but how come after Madara steals his brother's eyes, they take the shape of Madara's Sharingan, not the brothers?

Actually, when Madara took his brother's eyes, his new Sharingan was a combination of their two. Notice how the three bars from the brother's eye are added to the outside of Madara's normal Mangekyo? I'm a little surprised nobody has commented on that yet...
