I could see Kakashi giving up his Sharingan to Sasuke if Itachi does wind up getting his eyes. Whether or not he comes back to Konoha is another matter, though.

Itachi went for Sasuke's left eye, which is the same side as Kakashi's sharingan O_O;

Wouldn't you think that Itachi would go for both eyes though? I could see if he does get one of Sasuke's eyes, maybe Sasuke would get away, but again.. I doubt it'll happen. It's probably a clone.

That is an interesting discovery though.

Nono, I mean.. wouldn't you think Itachi would go for both of Sasuke's eyes, and not just the one. I think if the theory of him getting one of Sasuke's eyes happens, Sasuke might get away and then Kakashi will give Sasuke is other eye, giving him some sort of power boost. I don't think Itachi can get Kakashi's eye and have it work, but again, this is all doubtful as it's probably a clone. =P

other maybe itachi should get all the eyes left out there. that's a total of 7..it would be too epic

Wow at this week's issue. I want so badly to believe the fight is not over but I can't expalin away what happened.

How epic would it be if like Sasuke just poofed as the eyeball was pulled out and at that instant Sasuke just nabbed one of Itachi's eyes, or gave him a good stab to even out the playing field. God SO EPIC.

Sasuke still hasn't used this wings/cursed seal thing yet so I would hardly call this fight over. Perhaps having Itachi get close to him was planned. Seeing as how these guys seem to plan 8 years in advance of a fight it wouldn't surprise me that everything so far in the fight is setting up a trap.

Thats kind of what I was thinking. It would show that Sasuke with his non MS genjutsu has surpassed Itachi and his MS.

Well just for the record, I think it would be stupid for Itachi to only take one. But sasuke needs one sharingan and one byakugaan for my mini-pein idea to work. Maybe he can steal kakashi's and neji's.

I thought whenever the clone takes damage it disappears. Kinda like when Itachi's got nailed with that huge shuriken. How many clones have ever made a huge impact crater?

I was more thinking that Sasuke trapped Itachi into an illusion that was giving Itachi what he wanted, Susuke's eyes. In reality Itachi would just be gouging his own eyes out or something like that.

I was more thinking that Sasuke trapped Itachi into an illusion that was giving Itachi what he wanted, Susuke's eyes. In reality Itachi would just be gouging his own eyes out or something like that.

Well what I meant was that if he takes one eye first, that still leaves room for a plot twist during the time gap between plucking one eye and plucking the second, providing a viable segue for Kakashi to donate Obito's sharingan to Sasuke
