Obito already got the breakdown on how the technique works and so long as he can find some piece of Rin and a suitable sacrifice he could use the jutsu himself. I never thought about it but couldn't Obito use the same revive trick that Nagato pulled to revive her? He's got Rinnegan afterall.

With Madara and Obito both attempting to carry out the infinite Tsukiyomi either Obito will cave to being put under a genjutsu to be reunited with Rin in Madara's dreamworld or someone is going to backstab someone.

This part always gets me, considering Orochi was the main baddie for like the first 75% of the manga haha.

Mad scientist genius villain is always a classic. He never tried to block out the sun though, which depressed me greatly.

Bleh, can't believe 5 days past since my last post. Starting the lolanimation argument up again now in the thread just seems stupid. The topic is bound to come up again eventually so if anybody wants to continue the debate here or in PMs I'm game. I'll just drop it for now otherwise.

I wonder how many more flashback chapters we have to go through before Kishi finishes fixing all the plot holes. Would there have been more or less plot holes to fix if it was Izuna?

In before Orochimaru has plot hacks and is somehow capable to keep up with the current cast.

I mean, we never did see him fight at his full potential strength. He was supposed to be stronger than Jiraiya wasn't he?

edit: Let's not forget the deus ex machina that he also has full mastery of Sage Mode

also, I'll take oro over obito any day, the story's become embarrassing for me after that reveal. Can't stop reading though, hope something great happens soon

Man, why'd the cool guys have to get killed... I miss jiraya and itachi. Does not actually seeing the character die/body/etc mean in japanese culture what it does in the west? Because I have not yet stopped waiting for jiraya to come back lol

Funny thing how that was nullified recently with the deus ex machina that both he and Kabuto mastered Sage Mode from the snakes.

Obito needs a long convoluted story to explain why he's doing Madara's bidding. Power upgrades, time jumps, knowledge of all this super secret ninja history, meeting the most bad ass member of your family ever when you are super scrub #1, motivation for going through with all this shit even though it really has nothing to do with you.

Izuna's motivation would be simple. He'd be getting revenge on all the fucks that wronged his dead brother. Easy peasy. The only things you'd have to explain are: Why isn't he dead. Why isn't he old as fuck. And both those questions are very simple to explain. Hell, the former had to be explained with Obito anyway. And the latter is touched on with Tobi walking around with Zetsu body parts already.

It's used to be a rock paper scissors type thing at first. Snake beats frog. Frog beats slug. Slug beats snake. In practice things got a bit muddled.

Orochimaru probably can copy off of what Kabuto learned so I'm assuming he has his own sage mode now.
