Thank god it worked (sorta) at least once that we saw. It is a bad ass move.

I guess I'm willing to consider the Zabuza fight a victory. I mean they were going to have to take out Haku anyway.

At any rate, "Tobito" controlled the Mizukage, so it could easily stand to reason that Madara had control of Mist before Tobito. This could have been a trap orchestrated by Madara to cause Tobito to lose faith in humanity and in the "present reality". Seeing his friend/rival responsible for the death of his friend/unrequited love could easily turn him into either a being of pure rage or a nihilistic bastard.

We are seeing a bit of how he was able to obtain his MS and the massive stock of Chakra. Seeing Kakeshi kill Rin, combined with the fusion of Uchiha and Senju blood could cause him to forcibly awaken either his third tomoe or the MS completely.

I didn't like obito's reveal. Not a "raging reader" btw, lol - I could give less of a shit who tobi ended up being and I don't remember anybody raging or up in arms about it

The problem was never his intentions, it's just a part of it. Just because rin was killed by kakashi instead of rin dying doesn't change fact that obito is a very shitty person to end up being tobi

I was never talking about the reveal, I was specifically posting about his motivation, which people were upset about and how it's cliche. Read the last few pages, maybe more if you have inferior settings.

not really, Obito as the main villain just feels plain wrong and out of place all of the sudden. Can we have orochimaru back? He actually knew how to use poeple as marionettes and dolls.

I took it more as Zetsu's telepathy links kicking in, but that could also work.

Well, we don't know how well Zetsu can actually see and it could also have possibly been an over-the-shoulder view. But my take was more on since the Zetsus are linked and Obito was linked with the Zetsus in his little gooey armor of cheese, they just started feeding the data through his Zetsu half and it began to painfully kick in since he wasn't used to it.

But given what we'd learned of Zetsus stealing chakra to mimic people, I wouldn't outright rule out the Kakashi clone, either. For the moment, we have no real basis that a prior owner of a Sharingan could see what the other person is currently seeing. Unfortunately, all other swaps involved the person losing their eyes dying, too. It's otherwise a bit too convenient for him to be seeing what Madara would arguably want him to be seeing.
