Why do people think Obito is the main villain? Obito is Madara's pawn. And he is also being made to be the "Sasuke" of his generation (see the opening image with the current adult generation as kids and Obito in the middle). This makes it so we have the question of where Sasuke will go in the end, because there is far more darkness in his heart to follow Madara's plan than Obito and the sort.

Madara is the main villain, we have known this for a while, Obito is maybe the Kabuto for the main villain.

After Itachi's 'Ghost' moment with dear old little bro I don't see Sauce becoming a villain when Madara and Obito are both holding the title and happen to be Uchiha. Madaras plan is to pew pew a Tsukiyomi on the moon and that does all of squat to solve Sauce's issues. Why would he join forces with them?

I fully expect Obito to be knocked off by Madara in a display of power, Bee gets taken out of commission somehow, Naruto is left 1v1 with Madara and then Sauce+1 (beefed up with Orochimode) comes in with the Vegeta-esque "I'm not here for you or Konoha, I'm here for me." culminating in a battle that ends with Naruto victorious and Sauce riding off in the sunset to rebuild the Uchiha clan now that Madara and his ambitions are finally dead.

I didn't mean to imply that I thought Sasuke would be a villain. Simply that the appearance is there for the comparison to exist. Sasuke is going to help Naruto but also fight Naruto in some fashion.

Not much clarification on why it seemed Kakashi made the Rinkabob. At this point, all I can think of was maybe she was somehow a Mist spy since they seemed so interested in getting her body.

He passed out from exhaustion after having his mangekyou activated, I assume because either he was nowhere near the level needed to even have it out for any amount of time, or he had already used too much chakra as is.

It's possible that he never had enough chakra to use it until then Ronin. If you think about it, during the initial Zabuza encounter he passed out just having regular Sharingan out for like 20 minutes. It's not too far fetched to say that he never acquired the massive amount of chakra needed for a non-Uchiha to use a Mangekyou until the fight with Deidara where he was only able to use Kamui once (I think?) and almost died anyways.
