Pretty sure sasuke cut that one tail off with his gay ass sword

and if we're talking about sasuke's ametarasuasudi on bee then that's completely different as sasuke can extinguish the flames with his other eye so.. it still is the "turns everything to ash" thing

well even when it was burning down the forest around the uchiha hideout them trees took awhile to actually turn to ash :/

So I found viz's uncut naruto volumes 1-5 for $6 each yesterday and I forgot how slow the anime started out. Kinda funny looking back at how they all started out compared to now.

I actually can't remember off the top of my head if they were ever shown normal after he became conscious of them. I just remember that he had normal eyes at least from when he was introduced until when he became conscious of them.

I mentioned something similar before here awhile back, cause his eye was clearly a generic Sharingan eye and not EMS(unless Kubo retcons that) so I, so an ability that gets used constantly should have him be blind in that eye. Unless we're led to believe the phasing in and out thing can happen as many times as he wants after the first activation while still counting as 1 use of the technique, which sounds worse than retconning his MS into EMS honestly.

Its Amaterasu that damages the eyes, not just MS, right? I've only ever seen Itachi or the Sauce in pain after using Ama. Kakashi is different because he's not a pureblood; I haven't seen any Uchiha that I can remember that was damaged from just activating it.

From what I've understood, the moment you first activate MS your eyes will start to deteriorate. It just happens faster the more you use it.

I don't think that's the case, your eyes only get hurt by using MS. Thus; Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, not Eternal Sharingan.

Since Obito most of the time uses his Sharingan and not his Mangekyou, that would explain why he didn't go blind. whereas Sasuke, who only uses his MS, started to go blind pretty fast.
