This so many times. Holy crap this was probably one of the best chapters to date, and if we went back in time till before overpowered eyes ruled the battlefield we would be hailing this as one of the best chapters of the series.

They put forth an effort to show they can still contribute, and they did. They even knew the 10 tails would break out of the concrete. Its not going to be over in 2 seconds, the real fight just started now. When you watch House you know the first diagnosis isn't the right one, we still have another 40min of show left. This is no different, we can't just have every one standing and staring at each other till we feel the fight is sufficiently far enough to end.

I like the teamwork being displayed but unlike the old mantra of this manga - that hard work pays off over natural talent - this battle is going to end with Madara and Obito roflstomping this alliance and knowing that undercuts the potency of the battle. Since all the Edo'd pros went back to being dead, the fodder can't even score some victories over minions so it's like why bother?

Everything builds up to this grand climax of all the rival villages combining their jutsus to assault the Juubi, Madara makes some passing remarks about how everyone is doing a good job and then Madara will get serious and put down this little rebellion leading to the real climax where Naruto and SSJ Sauce put on the real show.

Frankly I'm more interested in seeing Obito getting backstabbed by Madara or Naruto and Sauce putting their rivalry aside to take on the Uchiha God.

Lee is really the only one without natural talent (that I can think of right now), and he gets his shit stomped in by Gaara. He kick sausuke in the face that one time, but sausuke just copied his shit and did it better a few months later.
