They already explained that in this chapter, the alliance has a way to block/redirect the blast; the only problem is they spend so much energy doing that and get absolutely nowhere in terms of actually stopping the beast/sharingan duo.

After like 3-5 it'd be game over, but that obviously wouldn't be as interesting.

Maybe I just want to see everyone die except naruto then he goes super saiyan kills the bad guys finds the dragonballs and wishes for sasuke to be his girlfriend finally so that he doesn't need to ask him himself.

Also power of friendship, Naruto gonna die with the bads and somehow Sasuke will become hokage in memory of Naruto.

Firstly, shoutout to Nenji going out on his shield. Even while everyone is fighting, it didnt seem like Naurto understood the gravity of the situation they were in. Obito called it with calling his words empty. I cant wait to see where this will take him.
