People are tired of dragon balls in Edo tensei form. The logic is there, but that doesn't make it a good plot device. This technique is on par with the power of friendship and eye hax, its just an excuse for bad writing.

Yeah, and again, I can totally understand this line of thought. I personally enjoyed this chapter and can't wait to see what's gonna happen next with basically the 4 strongest people to ever live. But I know lots of people hate edo, and anything else having to do with it is gonna be too much. But there was a like a full page worth of posts saying the logic has been throw away, which confuses the fuck out of me lol.

I'd assume it resurrects them in the form of how they looked based on when the DNA was taken. If the DNA was taken from a corpse, then the body would look like how the person looked like right when they died.
Can't prove it one way or another, but imo it makes sense that way.

And my problem with this chapter isn't the Edo Tensai, its that there was somehow 6 Zetsu's piggybacking onto Sasuke somehow.

Oh no, the logic is there. They finally show a picture of the scroll, and from the mask on it we can assume (since suigetsu is a rere) that the scroll explicitly says he can resurrect the shinigami, get his hands back, and resurrect all 4 hokage. That's why he said whoever has this can rule the ninja world, which isn't far from the truth if you know how to resurrect the dead.

Sasuke gets the scroll and thinks "well if I let him do all this I can get all the answers I need on ninja history 101 to decide how to live my life now that itachi sacrificed himself once again to save me and the village". Fast forward and now we have a fully powered orochi (with a possibly hashirama DNA power up), with 4 hokage under his control, but alas sasuke will finally have his fucking answer. I guess that's what the panels were for with suigetsu talking to orochi about how the nation isn't protected cause of the war and orochi is basically w/e at this point about it.

Sorry for double but tapa is annoying to quote and edit. It makes sense only cause you age because of the imperfection in your cells dividing. So if you take DNA from an old person I guess its possible to divine age from it. I don't know how determining age from DNA relates to real science, but its good enough for shonen I guess.

Madara was resurrected in his prime with Rinnegan, but he only obtained Rinnegan prior to his death. Kabuto did something with his Edo body to make this possible, but I guess there was no need for a prime Hiruzen. It could be just that Orochi didn't have enough prep time to arrange such a thing.

The simple explanation is the artist is too lazy to create a new artwork for the third, and people already identifies the other 3 as they are now.

If all Orochi had to do to get his arms back was get some mask and cut his stomach, why didn't he do it this 500 chapters ago? I'm sure it was explained recently, but why is Orochimaru even alive? I thought this guy died 3 times over already.

It was my understanding that he already had their DNA from when he fought the 3rd so all he has to do is summon them. Although that doesn't explain the 3rd showing up along with the other three. Anywho!!! I'm waiting for Orochimaru to pull a scroll out of the dark damp depths of his stomach and be like "Hay guiz!!! I haz Sage of 6 paths DNAs, wanna see?!?! Mere Suigetsu kukuku."

He didn't have the eyes to read everything. You need either the MS or EMS to read the scroll I believe, so he needed the sauce.

shit chapter, shit plot. Why is everything getting edo tenseid to hell. I swear that jutsu is giving me PMS right now...

And if this is all that Oro needed to do to get his arms back, why didnt he do it 492093023 chapters beforehand. Shit makes no sense. (nvm just saw what someoen wrote above me).

I wish this Edo-Tensei poopcaka comes to an end soon.

Lets say the scroll had information on that Uzumaki temple and the shinigami mask. But since it's within the bound of Konoha and/or it needs base bodies infused with Hashirama cells he couldn't get/test it. So while scheduling a visit to Konoha, the sauce killed him.

Uh, didn't they need a sharingan to get into the area where they are now? Orochi didn't have a sharingan to do so. When he was training sasuke he MIGHT have had an opportunity to, but this chapter revealed that sasuke is all talk now that he has a chance to crush the leaf but hesitates cause he needs "answers". Orochi knew this and never attempted to force sasuke to do this for that very reason, especially since he couldn't change bodies until the day he and sasuke fought.

It all makes sense, its just lame to undo literally years of plot development because of this same fucking technique.
