Personally I kinda want the manga to end with Tobidara winning at this point with the final chapter being Obito heading back to town in his distopian fantasy world, passing all the other characters who are going about their normal non violent ninja lives and sitting down at a tavern with Rin, Kakashi, and Minato before subconsciously shedding a tear at the fact that he's the only one who knows he's living a lie.

Author seriously need to consider doing a "what if?" version a couple months (or sometime down the line) after the actual story ends.

Isn't the whole purpose of his Moon's Eye to also genjutsu himself into believing that he's with Rin and all his friends again? I mean, Rin would be kid and this isn't that kind of manga.

Kabuto explained that. The 4th was already sealed by the Dead Demon Seal so it was just something Orochi didn't know about at the time. To stop the technique, again, Kabuto mentioned you needed to take control of the user and force the undo seals. Would a master of the Sharigan such a Madara would really have trouble doing something like that with Orochi . . . or anyone currently out there save MAYBE Sasuke?

If the 4th and Naruto ever do meet up, I can see him being mindfucked to all hell lol. He'd be continuing the conversation and he'd be all "dafuq you talkin bout son. that was just an interactive voicemail!"

Itachi did this by sacrificing his eye. No way in hell madara is doing that.

But let's not even go down that road, Orochi will probably never run to a battlefield to help every one. At best, the hokage will run there, but I doubt it as the sauce will probably make him release their souls to rest in peace after they explain to him exactly why he's been a twat for the past decade and what he needs to do to reverse said twatism. Orochi will probably fade into obscurity, sauce and co. will go to battlefield with a new sense of purpose, and every one will fight the dynamic duo to the death. Obito may or may not revive Madara (or madara will force him to do it), epic fight for a few chapters with flashbacks of the power of friendship, a few people die here and there for HHHNNNGGGHHHH, then ending sequence for a few weeks to finish all loose ends. The end.

My problem with this mindfuck is The Fourth. Hopefully Kishi remembers that Minato didn't actually meet meet his son, and that it was his chakra that took form of his persona spoke to him instead. If they meet up and have a "continuation" of their previous conversation it's gonna put a hole in the plot so huge, lol. If nothing else, Kishi cleaned up the fiasco of the Third "preventing the summoning" of the Fourth way back when during his fight with Orochimaru with this chapter and the last chapter where Kabuto explained Edo Tensei.

Initial reason for sealing their chakra within naruto was to (Minato) to repair the damage seal once 9tails would be released, pass on information, give closure to naruto for what had happen, (kushino) teach naruto how to control, pass info, give more closure..

if he meets naruto and see him in his SSJ state, he can assume everything went as planned (as far as narutos development) and any type of conversation/message that would have took place.

pretty sure he had enough years being sealed to think about at least that much.

Wasn't Orochi's whole soul sealed away by Itachi though? Idk, I could see Kishi going either way with this, if they even meet.

I suppose the "soul" of that body was sealed along with that body, but this is a magical ninja world where you can place your "consciousness" across multiple chakra seals, so its possible that you can split your soul into your consciousness.

And yeah, the genjutsu is going to affect him as well; the only one who will remember that its a genjutsu is Madara himself, since he'll be controlling the genjutsu. So basically, unless Obito has some double-crossing clause in this jutsu or plan, there's absolutely no garuntee that Madara is going to do anything more than rule all of existence and creation as a god, doing whatever he sees fit to do.

The Juubi I think? Madara said their connection to the juubi (the wood thing from obito's arm and madara's chest) would be enough to control it till the next transformation happened.

The Juubi's pretty fugly right now anyway, I would expect there to be a third form to clean it up a bit.

Didn't they mean just turning into the moon, since the moon is the body of he 10 tails. Might not be, cause it was said that the moon is the shell of the 10 tails, but pein also says the sage of 6 paths used that gravity ball technique to create the moon.

I always thought about that catch 22 plot no jutsu. Pain says the moon was created by the Sage of Six Paths to encase the body of the ten-tails, similar to what he did to Naruto with the nine-tails. Madara then says he wishes to become the host of the ten-tails so he can use the moon for his Infinite Tsukiyomi. How you gonna destroy the moon to free the ten-tails and use it for your genjutsu at the same time? What exactly is the gedo mazou?

My translation might have been different cause I took it as the moon is literally the body of the 10 tails (curled up or something idk). But then they make it seem like all they wanna do is use the moon as a giant mirror to reflect a genjustsu on the world.

I don't know, they need to explain their plan in depth cause while I get what they want to do, its ambiguous as to how they're gonna do it.

It was originally stated that the genjutsu will reflect off the surface of the moon back to the planet, so yeah, he's gonna use it like a giant brainwashing broadcast speaker.

Spent some time on the wiki. The Sage of Six Paths separated the chakra from the ten-tails body and split it into nine different tailed beings while he was still it's jinchuriki. He then sealed the body of the ten-tails using Chibaku Tensei and created the moon. Once Madara gained the Rinnegan he was able to summon the empty body of the ten-tails, Demonic Statue of Outer Path (外道魔像, Gedō Mazō), directly from the moon and bring it down to the earth.

So yeah, moon no longer plays any role with the ten-tails and it's only there to serve as a big ass mirror.
