I hate kishi flashbacks because they always make sense in the end XD

Seems like a redundant cliffhangar, as far as I know none of these people die at this point (unless this is supposed to be right after the samurai kyuubi vs. billion arms thing fight that the flashback started with)
Eh... it's not really redundant because at this point it's all about how stuff unfolded rather than how it's going to end up.

Chapter was great.

Well
Spoiler: show
Tobirama has never shown to be anything -more- than a douche. I think the only time we saw him acting somewhat kind was right before he sacrificed himself to save Hiruzen and Danzo.
Its as Itachi said, I suppose; its always as Itachi says:
"The true measure of a man is decided right before his death." Obviously Tobirama has always been a loyal and just man, but kind? Heh, not so much.
Wait...what the fuck? Didn't Izuna originally die fighting with no eyes in battle after he gave them to Madara? Madara spammed his MS, went blind, Izuna gave up his eyes to Madara and died in battle with no eyes is the way I originally interpreted it. Here we got them both able to see with Izuna dying.
The only thing we heard about Izuna was from Obito, who was already shown to be lying about other stuff when he talked to Sasuke.
Pretty much this. On top of that, this flashback is from Hashirama's point of view too. For all we know, Madara already had MS and his eyesight was deteriorating. It wouldn't be a surprise that he kept this fact from Hashirama given that... well, they're rival clans trying to decimate each other. Why would he reveal that secret to his enemy?
There are a couple holes in the plot obviously, but I don't think it's the biggest deal.
The wiki tells that he died honorably in battle later, due to not being able to see, but that he continued to fight. We can take that with a grain of salt, but this one had official citation from one of the manga chapters. At this point, though, it feels like he gave them willingly.
True.
We're also not sure how much time elapsed between those battles. Always the possibility that Madara went blind shortly after that battle (remember, Hashirama mentions the country sending other clans to fight their respective clans), Izuna gave Madara his eyes, then died shortly after.
"He died from the wound" doesn't necessarily mean that alone; could be Izuna knew his time was running short after the wound, gives up his eyes to Madara, continues trying to fight while being incapacitated with no eyes, and with his battle capacity further diminished by his wounds.
Guess he wanted to go down fighting rather than laying around moping.
Or maybe they were both going blind from using the mangekyou when Izuna was dealt a mortal wound, and thus decided to give his eyes to Madara.
who cares who went blind first, this whole flashback has no point. I mean we allready know what happened, they get together, get married and then madara goes on a midlife crises and demands a divorce from hashirama.
I really dont see a reason for those chapters and I definitly didnt want to know ALL the details... unless they state an important point (which they dont atm)
