How the fuck does Sasuke have a Mangekyou ability without the Mangekyou.

Well, kinda goes back to how he was determined to not do things Itachi's way back when he first beat Naruto. Killing your best friend may be the easiest path to MS, but if Kakashi is any indication, it's not the only way.

Can't really tell from the pictures on the spoiler page since they're small, but I can't really see any difference in Sasuke's eyes. I could understand obtaining the Mangekyou a different way, but using the Mangekyou-exclusive techniques without one completely is going to be fucking retarded.

Not trying to fanboy on Sasuke, but I do think some are being a bit too attached to the proverbial badassery of Itachi. I felt the same about Deidara when people started crying about his battle going downhill.

We can only speculate what the MS does in truth. What Itachi can do could easily be something someone who's gone through what Sasuka has can do because it's likely not exclusive to that eye. We, and Itachi, might think it is because he hadn't discovered it until after he'd done his murderous rampage. Until we see more of Madara, we don't know the depths of the MS. All we know is that, yes, it enhances their ability, but it eventually costs them their sight.

Either way, color me in the camp that'd love speedier scanslations despite the early spoilers.

Don't get me wrong, I could honestly care less about Sasuke or Itachi as characters, but the fight was something I admittedly have been waiting for since I started reading the manga and found out about Sasuke's hatred for his brother. However I am of the mindset that without Itachi, Sasuke is an incredibly dull character. Sasuke's entire character, in fact, has been molded around Itachi being alive. To me though it just seems like the writer is just pulling things out of his ass at this point to satisfy the weekly chapters, and just keeps throwing things together.

I knew Sasuke would become a badass, but Itachi should have improved as well regardless of his eyesight. It just makes no sense to me, and for a fight that's been anticipated and waited for since 1999, it's pretty lackluster. I know it's all opinion at this point but there have been tons of fights that did little for the story that have been a lot funner to read and better (and even watch, for those already shown in the anime).

Said it many times since it was hinted towards a while back, but I want Suigetsu/Kisame fight.

Nothing in this chapter says that Sasuke got MS. All he said was that he was going to kill Itachi with a jutsu similar to Amterasu, in that it can't be dodged. Nothing about MS there...you know...it's not exactly impossible for Sasuke to have a jutsu that powerful since it's been hinted during his post-time skip reappearance. Everyone should've seen this coming. I repeat, Sasuke does not have MS....yet.....Although I really don't see the point of him getting MS anyway.

i want to quote this for emphasis, sasuke is naruto's rival, naruto has 4tails (and therefore makes him badass, sasuke needs something), sasuke has done nothing but training under oro for like 3 years(?) during the time skip, itachi was strong but he prolly didnt train and work his ass off cause he thinks hes so fucking elite like every single akatsuki
and i was actually hoping for sasuke to counter itachi with his own MS, like a super plot twist... like when itachi ripped out sasuke's eye, and hes like kekekeke itachi actually realizes he was trapped under sasuke's MS illusion...that wouldve been epic lulz

Sasuke's been training for those 3 years with one singular purpose, to kill Itachi. With what he knew, what he has learned from training, and what he absorbed from Orochimaru, I don't think it's a stretch at all for him to kill Itachi here.

Just because he hasn't shown/doesn't have Mangekyo doesn't mean that he isn't stronger or can't kill Itachi.
