Double issue means we get two chapters back to back. The one we're seeing now won't actually be out until after golden week.

This begs the question, even if Madara's Rinnegan-Mokuton power-ups are enough that he can repeatedly obliterate Hashirama along with Tobirama, Sarutobi, and Minato, they all have re-raise and instant chakra/hp refill just like him.

While Madara only needs to take out Orochimaru (although it seems Hashirama may stick around since he apparently freed himself already), someone probably has to Dead Demon Seal to stop Madara.

Considering they just invalidated the Dead Demon Seal, they could simply just seal Madara like they've been sealing all the other people that got Edo Tensei'd. It's clear he goes into emotional overdrive when Hashirama is around.

It'll be interesting how Kishi plays his hand here. Will Madara be taken out first or will Obito take over as the 10 tails Jinchuriki and succeed Madara (again) for the throne of endboss? How will Hashi-motherfuckinggod-rama factor into this? Will Sauce do some talk-no-jutsu with Madara? Is this manga gonna end with Orochimaru? lol

That doesn't seem like a permanent solution. Sure you can free someone from the Dead Demon Seal, but we've seen that it's an ordeal and you have to go about re-summoning the soul again through Edo-Tensei. It's still probably the best way to handle someone like Madara short of something like Itachi's Susano Seal.

They did a pretty good job in my opinion. you gotta remember Edo Madara is 100x worse to fight than Madara when he was alive.
They managed to take on the second most powerful ninja of all time with him having bonus unlimited chakra, a Rinnegan, Harishima Dna, AND immortality.
The fact that they still managed to do enough damage that he would have been dead several times over without the auto Reraise is damn impressive. I'm still pissed that they got beat offscreen now that the memory came back to me.

All I took from this was Madara had Atmas and the Kages didn't.

Or since he has such a hard on about the moon, force him to go live on it.

And while I'm making FFXI references, we all know this would just make Madara come back years later as Shinryu.

Naruto was fine. The problem was the Sakura parts basically leeching away the potential of better fleshing out his experience.

The Ending of Naruto Shippuden:

It'd have to be an ending where Rikudou Sennin appears before Naruto and allows him to choose between three colors of jutsu to end the war.

If he chooses the red Jutsu, the Juubi will be destroyed and Madara and Obito stopped, but if he does then all people with Doujutsu (like Hinata and Sasuke) will die as well.

If he chooses the blue Jutsu, then he will take control of the Juubi by himself, changing his mind and fulfilling Madara and Obito's goals after they failed to create the Eternal Tsukiyomi.

If he chooses the green Jutsu, he will merge with the Juubi and let out a massive chakra pulse across the planet that will modify everyone's dna. No one will be capable of chakra for ninjutsu or genjutsu anymore, and also everyone will have the hatred wiped away from their brain so they are unable to feel animosity towards one another. Human beings of the planet, united, will work towards a new future.

In all three choices, Naruto dies.

We never see what choice he made, although we know he made one. The final page takes place thousands of years from then, where an old man will look up at the moon and tell his grandson that mankind will always remember "The Naruto," whose memory has passed on into legend.

It's up the readers to interpret and "speculate" on which ending was the one Naruto chose, and which one was correct.
