Fasterfox is no longer bad since it allows webmasters to disable its use on their sites. Shouldn't be considered controversial at all anymore.

Dammit, none of these work with my powermac. So much for doing my online homework with my computer instead of borrowing a windows laptop from someone else who lives here.
