i agree with stand up's being better than shows and all that, but i just think that sarah silverman program is garbage... chappelle's season 3 wasnt great but i'd take that over silverman

On the other hand, just from watching the commercials, I am given the feeling that the Sarah Silverman Show is akin to a black hole, with no comedy capable of escaping its inky void. Maybe I'll give it a shot next week.

David Cross' stand up was better than Mr. Show

God, no. And I'm a fan of his standup. Mr. Show was too brilliant to be outdone by just one man. David Cross was at the top of his game writing that show, and so were a half-dozen others.

Interesting side note, I was an absolutely enormous fan of Arrested Development, best show ever IMO, and it was entirely in spite of David. He had some inspired moments, but too many of his lines were simply too ridiculous to fit the tone of the show.

I watched this show for the first time right after the Superbowl. I turned it off after watching it for 15 minutes without even smirking.

Gave it another chance a week later, still no dice.

Then tried to watch it when I was stoned, I STILL didn't find it funny.

Sorry but her style of comedy isn't funny to me. For example, I saw her on Leno like 3 weeks ago. All she did was go on and on about how she waxes her cooch. Sometimes being openly unneedingly "offensive" just isn't that funny.

I think she's trash on one hand, but she is pretty good looking on the other. Not very funny, imo.

Personally, i absolutely hate this show. I dont think sara silverman has said a funny thing in her life. Only reason she has this show is because she is sleeping with jimmy kimmel. Comedy Central should apologize for spamming commercials of this idiot nonstop.

I think its too far to say she isn't funny. It's just she's only funny some of the time and even then, only in small amounts.

I find it astonishing that Comedy Central can green-light wretched shows like "T-Bone & Naked Trucker" and "Freak Show", but then suddenly put something amazing on the air.

Off-topic, sorry, is Freakshow coming back for another season? I thought that show was awful.

I love this show. She is completely hysterical. The only problem is the other characters (her sister and the cop) are kind of dull and boring.
