Linux and Vista GUI

Parents bought a new Vista machine, and I'll have to admit the GUI on it is pretty clean and slick looking. That being said, I decided to see what the LInux guys were doing nowadays and decided to give it a go.

So I Just finalized setting up linux on my desktop PC, and I think linux has a really slick GUI as well. What's everyone else's opinion between the two ?

It's not my Vista machine, just ones I grabbed off the internet. The Beryl/Linux screenshots are the only ones of my PC

I only see those interfaces as worthwhile on a touchscreen.

Mac OS X blow both of these out of the water, and the new Leopard looks ALOT better than the current OS X.

I actually support the war, I was just trying to use an analogy you'd understand.

Because if anyone said that they'd be run out of tun by people with pitchforks. The fact remains that Mac OSX is more stable and faster than Windows, but the problem everyone has is with its compatability with games and certain programs.

If you factor price into it then it's a no brainer, but if you're talking purely about capabilities then it's Mac all the way. And lrn2pirate
