Peculiar Seed

Found this in Mount Zhayolm in a place I've never seen it there before (Where the blank spot is for the map).

What's it do? Touching it makes it disappear and covers you in a random scent it seems, but it seems to do nothing in that regard either.

It's for the Aht Urhgan Quest "Finding Faults". If you check it, it will allow you to find out if the mob is weak to the scent (one of the requirements to successfully finishing).
