Yup yup, all internal memory for the DSX, not even sure if they could update the firmware to allow more or not, but again, it does what I want it to do and does it well.Originally Posted by Syn
But there are surely more cost efficient cards out there that may just be a tiny bit more complicated to setup/use.
source? <.<Originally Posted by Miltani
I don't believe it until I see it.
its confirmed they are working on it but no release dates or anything.
i was going to link a gbatemp.net link but you have to register. all the info regarding it is there.
Juli, buy me all this emulator stuff, yo.
In the JUS guide, what is an "Ultimate Action" for Naruto it says like, it creates something that makes you take no damage, sounds like a Kage Bunshin or a replacement jutsu. How do I do it though? Also I figured out how to use JPower so now I am getting lots of kewl stuff, but it's hard to farm the little jewels for upgrading
Also, where can I find how to unlock Planets "<Insert Letter>"? I did a search in the JUS guide and it only says stuff is unlocked there but not how to get it. I have unlocked 2 worlds but I can't tell what they are because it's japanese, so how do we know which world we unlocked? I ask because I need J world to unlock Orochimaru and Sasuke, and U world to unlock Jiraiya I think.
easiest to earn powerup gems are to play online. 50 of each for a win.
If u follow the flow of the guide u're able to unlock everything. Actually i don't know how to explain to you lolo

It's level progression, just beat the planets one by one and it will open up sooner or later.Originally Posted by Maguspk
K, so like I am playing online lol, pwnage. Kakshi + Naruto = win
edit: I got out first round, and my connection is green but I feel lag on my movements. I don't know if that's because I play SSBM pro and I can feel the lag even on LCD screens, or if it's actual connection lag. But it felt pretty strong, I dunno. Let me post my friend code, and send me a message on MSN so I can add you or aim:

nothingelsepk32 AIM
I went to the third option in the Friends Code menu and it brought up a screen with a DS that says Friend Code: 2449-0672-7231
Add me :D
Edit: We should have a JUS partay today and just pwn it up with a huge party of like 2v2 or FFA or something.
omg get online now magus

Uh, the ability to skip the cutscenes, the better graphics, and the added bonus of being able to understand the music you're listening to?Originally Posted by Syn
I don't really see a reason to forsake EBA for Ouendan unless you're a diehard weeaboo. Or can't stand the music for EBA (which isn't that bad, honestly). And seeing how you defend a shitty fighter just because it has Shonen Jump characters in it, I can guess which reason it is.
Total nonsensical (mostly) derail... but i just started playing this...
(yes on meh PSP)
Jeanne D'arc
And it is amazing just how many games we don't get US or EUR releases of... can't read a damn WORD but it is fun as hell. Hell... i even ordered the Japanese Official Strat Guide from Amazon.co.jp. >.> It... will be kinda like a picture book with squiggles for me!!
Between this and Picross DS i figure i will read fluent Japanese in about 13 years!
Ignore this and get both. They both OWN (and Elite Beat Agents has a larger songlist and improved features over Ouendan).Originally Posted by Syn
Most of the cutscenes in Ouendan aren't that long, except for RSG. Better graphics? Lol, no. Being able to understand the music is subjective, I don't recognise 90% of the songs in EBA and I don't like any. I heart RSG. So?Originally Posted by Priran
Shitty fighter is subjective, just because it has shonen character is a personal attack. I'm not a diehard weeaboo of Ouendan, if Ouendan 2 has shitty beats like EBA I'll still hate it. No matter how good the added features are, the main part of the game is screwed.
If you're one of those who played Ouendan wayyyyyyyyy before EBA was announced, looked forward to the game so much, and then realising that most of the song has screwed beats, you'd be feeling the same way as I do.
Oh man, my friend showed me a video of the preview thing for that game, before it was released. It looked really awesome, and is still one of the reasons I'm planning on getting a psp soon. (although I thought there was gonna be a NA release back then <.< doesn't look like it right now though..)Originally Posted by Graelinn
Is it playable if you can only read tiny bits of japanese? <.<
And it was also the hardest song in Ouendan. So, of course, having to sit through 40-seconds of an intro that just mocked your failing was frustrating. It's a bresh air when you're stuck on a hard song, or are going through multiple tries to max out a high score.Originally Posted by Syn
It is pretty much the same engine, but I don't see the 3D models of the Ouendan having unique, special animations for each and every stage in their game. EBA may be dressed in the same clothes as Ouendan, but it certainly has more variety in style.Better graphics? Lol, no.
Some people do. And you can't deny some of the pure awesomeness of songs in EBA ("September", "Highway Star", "Canned Heat", "Let's Dance" and -- most of all -- "Jumpin' Jack Flash").Being able to understand the music is subjective, I don't recognise 90% of the songs in EBA and I don't like any. I'm guessing you got bitchy cause it took you more than one try to beat "Canned Heat" on Sweatin'? Please. The game doesn't have screwy beats. Actually listen to the songs, and you'll realize that it actually does follow the songs very, very well. You may just be confused because some songs like to really switch their beatmaps to different parts of the song a lot (perfect examples are "Canned Heat" and "Let's Dance").I'm not a diehard weeaboo of Ouendan, if Ouendan 2 has shitty beats like EBA I'll still hate it. No matter how good the added features are, the main part of the game is screwed.

Really, the only problem I can see with EBA is that it has too much content compared to Ouendan, and it can cause some slight slowdown issues during some levels (particularly when playing certain stages in "Hard ROCK!" mode). Other than that, it's a worthy sequel to Ouendan -- I never thought I'd be playing an Ashlee Simpson song over and over again in a music game.
It is quite playable if you can't read ANY Japanese =P I took Japanese about 700 years ago in High School and sadly it has all been dusted over by a smattering of info like which SC to do when, which Merits i have, did i eat breakfast today... ya know, etc.Originally Posted by Julian
So yeah. You can easily play this game.
The first few chapters, like any SRPG, are kind of Tutorial Chapters, and the great thing is that there are small "popups" that kind of pictorially explain things. Anything from how to move + attack, to how to line up chars to utilize Burning Sites, are explained in these little popups.
In addition, there is a very small FAQ on Gamefaqs that thankfully lays out the different Battle Menu and World Menu commands so once you have those memorized you are set.
Of course... you are getting zero story from the amazing Anime CSs but... whatever >.>
Long story short, it plays like any great SRPG, and as such if you are familiar with SRPGs in general, you could enjoy this game.
Oh... DS topic... umm... really liking Dawn of Sorrow atm. Plan on finishing it then buyind Portrait of Ruin (since it isn't compatible with DSX atm)
Well, I'm still not getting a psp for probably 2 months or so, so hopefully a translation will have been announced by then <.<
Jeanne D'Arc...that name reminds me of that...weird girly anime of some sort of female master thief who traps ghosts/demons in chess pieces
OT:
preordered PKMN D+P from yesasia.com
would've been more expensive really if i got all the stuff to play without the real thing ._.
