It was completely worth it, way better than the original DS (no headphone jack built into the original DS... -.-).

I honestly can't take anymore titles coming out yet, soooooo many games I still need to beat. ; ;

Nintendo announced today that they will be bringing over the Nintendo DS web browser device to the U.S. on June 4th. The device will allow gamers to hook up to the Internet and surf to their heart's content using the DS interface/touch screen. While details and pricing haven't been revealed, we'll try to get more details in the days ahead at GDC.

Well we shall see eh? Meh... the PSP's onboard RAM is so minimal that surfing on it never lasts long.

Also... i have a custom Deathnote Font 2 on my PSP and that makes reading the sites a damn nightmare =)

I just wonder how the DS would handle the Cache/RAM issues... i am interested to see if any improvements are made for the US release. The current state of the Japanese Browser service is mightily uninmpressive. Very slow response, literally taking minutes when a run of the mill PC would display in seconds. So... i see little use unless you have ZERO options otherwise or ... i dunno... are trapped in a well with nothing but your DS with an Internet Browser to save your ass?

Also, just caught a small write up about Rune Factory: Fantasy Harvest Moon in the latest NPower. I had forgotten all about this game. I have high hopes for it.

if you have flashcart there are already lots of cool homebrew stuff (i don't use though) like a web browser, email client, ftp server (lol), etc., but yeah they aren't official.

I was thinking of getting an import DS because they are region free, but in the end I couldn't justify paying double or more just to have an FF (III in this case) branded DS or ice blue one (imo cooler than onyx).

They cost more than a wii...

yeah thats my point. i wanted to get a ffIII or ice blue ds because it doesn't matter, but in the end decided it wasn't worth the cost. i wasn't saying jp DS are the only ones region free.
