I wondered this too. And if you didn't notice the forums were being weird yesterday. Me thinks they somehow changed the forums to have more posts for each page. Maybe 30 instead of 20? And that is why there is less pages, but I think all the posts are still here.

I was thinking of getting an import DS because they are region free, but in the end I couldn't justify paying double or more just to have an FF (III in this case) branded DS or ice blue one (imo cooler than onyx).

They cost more than a wii...

yeah thats my point. i wanted to get a ffIII or ice blue ds because it doesn't matter, but in the end decided it wasn't worth the cost. i wasn't saying jp DS are the only ones region free.

onyx, white and pink. japan has navy blue (called something different) and ice blue and lots and lots of special editions. again, cool, but in the end wasn't enough of a reason to pay the premium. still wish i had ice blue though ; ;

Have you ever seen the million different versions of the PS2? There's a Yellow, Red, Purple, Orange, Black, White, Silver, Gold, etc. etc. etc. lol.

I am happy having the Onyx. For some reason, even with all the positive hype-like comments about the Crystal Blue DS, i just wasn't seeing the allure. I suppose, if i really had an itch to have something similar but pay far less i would go for one of these:

DS Replacement Case (Wow they have Wii Cases now too o.O)

But... i like my Onyx case still so no need for now. Also, the very likely possibility of having dust get under the case is never fun, and the reason i have yet to purchase a PSP Faceplate.

Oh i hear ya... the farthest I was willing to go was Custom Firmware on my PSP. DS... eh. Wii Case, eh+1. While it would be cool to have a Black Wii Case, I just don't care enough to destroy my Warranty messing with the case.

And... all of the decals i have ever seen for any console... just look shyte to me.

I like the way my onyx DS and PSP look anyways, no reason for me to change it.

As for the Wii, the Nunchuks don't look all that great in any different color.

And yeah, I was scared as hell the first time I put DA's Firmware on my PSP, but now I just update it whenever he releases a new one lol... Having a portable PSX FF console is awesome.

Just to continue the on again off again derail, have you go up to the 3.10OE Firmware? I haven't yet... because i like my custom XMB too much >.> I know i will have to eventually though when there is a game that requires it.

That being said, one of the first 3.10 games (Monster Hunter Portable 2nd, Japan release) came with the 3.10 firmware but did not force you to update. It would still run on 3.03OE-C.

I just hope that there is more in an upcoming OE Firmware that resembles 3.03OE-C... the Pops compatibility doesn't affect the games i have/play on it atm. And i like my graphic customizations too much to let go of 3.03...

Yes i'm on 3.10OE... I don't bother with the custome XMB because one i'm afraid of it bricking my PSP/lagging it, and two DA releases a new firmware like every single month so what's the point and three, I only really want my game menus to look nice, so I don't bother with the XMBs (my FF7/8/9 are amazing, I put so much work into them heh.)

It's like a loli game, wtf? Is that a joke or is it real? If it's real I am really intrigued, intrigued enough to try it ... It's supposed to be a witch hunt and you hunt for them by seeing if they get aroused, wtf?
