Final Fantasy Fables is the hardest "minigame" game I've ever played. And it's supposedly a kids game.

The game is split into 3 different parts: Pop-Up Duels, Minigames, and Books.

Pop-Up Duels occur like 8 times total during the entire Story part of the game, but comprise the entire Online aspect. You get cards for this by playing the Story mode, I think there's like 120 cards total.


Books are easy, easy shit and form most of the Story part of the game.


Minigames are part of the Story mode and are where you'll get most of your cards. There's 2 cards per minigame, for a Silver and Gold score. You'll probably hit the Silver score your first or second play, but my initial reaction to some of the Gold scores was "...Is that even humanly possible?"

For example, one, "Bomb Wall", is a 5x5 grid of blocks. The object of the game is to click all the arrows on the way to the final piece, a crown. You start at a random place on the board with no indication. There are 3 kinds of arrows (single, double, triple) that point towards the next one. Clicking on the wrong square usually results in exploding a bomb, which is an instant failure. Sounds simple, but you have to do 3 boards of this, without hitting a single bomb, in 16 seconds, to get the Self-Destruct+ card. I think the total comes to an average of less than half a second between arrows to win.

All in all I think there were about 4 minigames I gave up on, and 2 I spent several hours on.

The online play is fun, but if someone plays a Miraculous Cheer+ you pretty much lose

They told me to send it in, I did, and now they won't reply my support tickets and it's been almost 2 weeks and no replacement. I think I just got fucked by them and it's pissing me off.

Jump Super Stars is 2005. Jump Ultimate Stars, the sequel, has been talked to death in the past few pages.
