Besieged Adjustments 2/20/07

Make it simple. Key item to enter, anyone who doesn't have one for Besieged gets booted to Whitegate. Guards in Whitegate and Al Zahbi can give you one, lasts for 2 hours. (Lost if you zone, but then you just get a new one from the Whitegate guards)

Well, If I ever needed a key item for beasiged then that would be kinda dumb. Not bashing buddy btw<3.

But honestly if you needed a key item, people are lazy, and on garuda and i guess i speak for myself when i say this but people wont get the key item because of laziness.

Then since people are being lazy then no one is going to be in beasiged but like 100 people? and i don't think you can win a level 7 besiged with 100 people.

It's a really good idea If people on your server are really in to beasiged

I like NynJa much as I like most everyone else on BG. Each provides quality reading in their own ways. Some provide drama, some conflict, some interesting facts and observations, some quoteworthy sigs (either out of stupidity or awesomeness), and some serve as the catalyst for epic BG moments, even if they themselves are not responsible for it. Others yet provide the rest of the forum with exercise when we get the occasional gem that needs to be beaten to a pulp before being banned.

It's like its own little ecosystem, all working together to make the world work.

The only ones I don't like are the ones that provide nothing but useless spam that merely increases the amount of text from one piece of drama to the next, without offering anything in the aforementioned list to justify its existence.

Into which of those categories do I fall?

Right now, Conflict with the potential for Catalyst. Not only are you in a conflict with NynJa right now, if he gets worked up enough to end up derailing the thread and arguing with half of BG, you may be credited with Catalyst, as well.

I'm hoping its some form of temp. food that gives accuracy to DD and nukes for mages. Personally I'm not a huge fan of Beseiged because the lag is horrible and the XP bonus isn't that great. Just over 1K for 30min of work isn't that great of an incentive.

I still don't get how people enjoy this craptastic lagfest. Remove it already.

I think the concept is nice in besieged but clearly the game just can't handle the amount of people in a zone. Take a look at DA when theres a nid expected then 150+ people show up. The game mechanic's start falling apart when members of your allaince don't get hit by wing while fighting nid.

Yea the concept IS nice. It would be a total blast to have all this happen in realtime, rather than in a 2fps warpfest.
