Dunno why people are saying Mnk isn't great for soloing. It's not the best job in overall, but it's pretty close to the best one. It's possibly the best one when paired with a healer too.

TECHNICALLY a bard can solo anything he can sleep (that doesn't rage)! It just takes hours and hours for some of them.

How do you prove its a RMT?

Why is it that every /anon and no LS (in most cases no, but there are some) people look like RMT? Is substandard gear and ignoring you RMT? Is camping NMs for hours on end RMT?

Seriously the task force would have lists of thousands of people, you can't ban for stupid names and /anon. Got to prove they broke the rules and with 700,000+ accounts that isn't exactly easy I bet.

Probably keeping tabs and building evidence, makes for a better legal case to.

Cast -ga on collibri right as a beast release his collibri to kill his mob for max exp. Double -ga return.

I'm currently exping in bibiki bay next to a group of sellers manaburning Cato's with flare (group of 5 blms, whm, thf, brd). Only thing I can do is try to take some of their mobs as I exp. Makes me afk less so it's a good thing.

wow, Pandemonium must have super rmt then, what he described up there (aside from the going off on people in chinese, ours ignore us unless they're saying "you buy now!") is 100% true of every leviathan rmt I've seen so far

Has anyone noticed on their server rmt are starting to log off between windows. In mine, a group of 7-8 rmt loged off after Ulli is dead. They log on 3-4 hours later for pop. This makes it harder to ban them.

I dunno, only time i've seen them do that was way back when spook was actually profitable on our server, they'd just log in for night time
I've never seen em do it at endgame stuff, but maybe it's catching on

The RMTs are back from vacation and filtering into sky on Caitsith. I MPKed 4 of them as a welcome back, but /goodbye again to easy Autumnstones.

EDIT: Yeah, they've started logging between windows here too. I guess it'll be nice to know when it's a waste of time to head up there.

scary... I always try to pretend they're robots or politicians... you know, things that don't have souls. it makes it easier to be a complete prick to them and try to steal their mobs... not that they're good at making anyone feel guilty anyway... YOU BUY NOW!

Well, an ls mate who I started the game with got perma-banned today, the guy he called up said specifically it was due to the use of windower. I never used to believe people who said they got banned for just using windower, but now I do.

I don't know if he used some kind of dodgy plug in, but I don't think so, so those of you who still want to play be wary.

Yea I know what you mean, but I thought people should know and decide for themselves whether they want to risk the validity, with the guy actually saying it on the phone.

So you believe everything people tell you on the phone?

When someone who for example has a piece of information in front of them saying "this ban is for windower" and has no reason to lie, then tells you, um, yes I do. Or maybe the support guy lied and he was banned for being French?

There's a particular one on Odin who tends to /check people randomly at camps, then strike up a conversation with them about their ranks, jobs, etc, and then to some people has actually given them a sales figure. Rather amusing, frankly.

Most RMT are decently equipped, and more than a few wear some very high end gear as advertisements, so they're not exactly gimp. It's fun when BLMs don't sleep something successfully though...

Don't look at the BLMs usually for the bad gear; I'd say look at the NINs, any random DDs they may have, and their BARDS... I love seeing 75BRDs in full regular old AF.. well, possibly and likely a Minstrel's Coat at least... at Behe camps. :/


EDIT: I was also thinking, with that screenshot I posted of the Taj on Odin that actually isn't Taj... he'd better hope he never steps a toe out of line, because I bet he has GMs watching him pretty closely.

That one is a hard sale Aurik, I know plenty of actual players who do stay logged in 24/7 and play almost that many hours a day everyday..not sure how they do it..but I know some that do

For a lot of those people, sleep time is spent bazaaring. Most RMTs have seperate accounts for bazaaring and work in shifts, no?
