I'm sure the 360 version will have online play.

VF3 and VF4 also had online arcade play in Japan. It's not a new concept for the series, and it worked well. Games like MvC2 and CvS2 also ran well online for consoles dating back to Dreamcast in Japan (why they couldn't get it right in the US is beyond me.) Infinites, CCs, and parry/JD rely as much on frame data as VF does.Originally Posted by Semitry

Thats true, Japan is 100% linked with fiber, and over 80% of the people that subscribe to an ISP use the fiber option. USA is linked with under 50% and some percent under 15% subscribe to it, I dont remember the NA #s.Originally Posted by XxSlusherxx
Then shouldn't they have made online play for VF5? No wonder the game flopped hard in japan. I wouldn't have bought it if the arcade had online but the console version did not.Originally Posted by SephirothYuyX
I was referring to the poster above me as to why Online in Japan has so much less lag (why fighting games work so much better online) if the JP version of VF5 dosen't have online I was unaware, that is stupid.Originally Posted by Semitry
