its...its... its so bad ; ;

all your pokemangz are lvl 20, you pick 6 out of them all to start with(while in beta) and you just fight people walking around lol. and the moves all suck.. they have stupid moves like leer and growl ; ; i just fought this guy right, my water vs. his fire... and blastoise's bubble attack only did like 8 dmg and his stupid regular attack was hitting me for more dmg... yeah ok...

edit: it wont be so bad after the actual game comes out and you can raise your own pokemon, but hopefully battles wont be text based like they are now... i wish the battle screen would look like it does on gameboy with the animations :\

Why don't you make a free program that took game developers years to create and totally recreate it from scratch to avoid copyright infringements.

Then, maybe, you can talk trash about it. They are making steady progress for a side project that is overflowing with anticipating users.

Like I said, I can't wait for the full game to come out, I'm dying to play it and I've been waiting, as I already said, since I got Blue version for the original GB for something like this. When the full version comes out its going to kick ass! But what they have right now isn't worth playing in my opinion. I'm calling the kettle a kettle and that's perfectly within my rights to do. ^^v

I'll let you know when it gets good, at the moment it sucks but it's promising once you actually do get on and see what they've done and read what they're going to do. They are making more progress than I've ever seen in a Pokemon MMO, and I'm sure they will have it underway well before Summer starts.

The very fact they are using the Pokemon IP means copyright infringement. Nintendo's gonna kick their ass.

Oh yeah, and I know I read somebody mention previous Pokemon games getting shut down, and I saw this in the Q&A section and found it worth posting.

A. Haris sent a letter to Nintendo asking for permission, and Nintendo said it would be alright as long as no profit is made, (I.E. There is no income, it would be freeware) It is highly doubtful that the growing popularity would force Nintendo to cease the project.

look at goldeneye Source or any dbz mod for the hl engine, they don't get shutdown

(bid for power doesn't count, they were looking to sell their mod which was the only reason they got shutdown)
