Gameplay Trailers 1 and 2. Vaan, Balthier, the Viera chick, all in it for sure. Lots of familiar music. The 2nd trailer is really interesting though, because you see like 20 units going at it at a time which is sheer awesomeness.

Looks pretty cool. I wonder how much of the game is going to be commanding nameless hordes of generic monsters, though.

Are balthier/fran just npc? They didnt gain xp after the fight

I hope the theme songs don't all repeat themselves like in this footage (as in, repeating FFXII's.)

I don't understand the battle system though, it just seems like they're randomly doing things, and there's no menu to pick stuff to do... unless all of that is at the other screen, and they're not showing the dual screens so it might be possible.

Well it's a prequel, right? So I'm not sure how they could have Vaan/Balthier/Fran fighting together unless it's like an intro sequence where they flashback to the earlier time.
