Um, I love RE games, books, movies etc. and I will definitely see this, but they say it takes place in the ruins of Las Vegas, since RE5 isn't out all I can go by is the other stuff and this seems similar to the 4th book. (wish theyd make one based on the Caliban Cove book).

Oh and it said rated R for non stop violence, so it's automatically good for an RE movie.

And Ali Larter looks young enough. I doubt it is just a random girl named "Claire" in a RE movie.

Claire Redfield was 18/19 in RE2, no way does Ali Larter look that young, maybe if it was claire @ 35 and after taking a beating with a fugly bat then maybe.

I'm not doubting it as a reference to claire redfield, but I don't think they're going to use a last name. Just something for people watching to be like "Hey, I bet thats supposed to be claire".
