The lvl limit to 75 was waaaay before CoP came out. If I knew how to do that stuff Id just fix it myself but I want to make sure Im not going crazy first.

You would be correct. The level cap was at 70 on NA release, and wasn't raised to 75 until December 2003.

CoP was out in September 2004.

Some stupid quest about a runaway chocobo? Had that happen to me too, just talk to him again (don't zone, or he'll yap about the chocobo again).

If you need another quest from Brutus (like Decimation or redoing BST AF), he'll (annoyingly) prioritize babbling about the lost chocobo, but if you just keep talking to him, you'll be able to get what you need out of him.

Wow, that was one hell of an update. I've never read that one before, just the overview timeline that someone posted elsewhere (I started FFXI about a month after NA PS2 release). I think if they made changes that major these days, Allakhazam would explode.

I initially thought it might be the abjuration guy, but then later they mentioned adjustments to (presumably already existing) King Behemoth, so that didn't sound right.

While we're on the topic of FFXIclopedia, does anyone else think that this is NOT a user guide and contains 0 opinions? In fact, the guy who wrote it has only made about 4 contributions to the page (not sure how much contribs on the talk page he first posted it on, though). Nynaeve insisted that it keeps the {{Guide}} template, but she's gone now.
