Something is wrong with my wii

Whenever it boots up for some reason it's not sensing my wii-mote. I put new batteries in just to be sure, but the sensor bar isnt picking up my remote. Anyone had this happen to them?

Calibrate.

Press the red button on the wii (near SD card) and press the red button on the remote (near batteries) at the same time.


Buy me a wii.

Try you need to sync the remotes to the system.


If that didn't work I'm not sure what else to try.

It was working just fine yesterday, I go to boot up today to check out new VC games, and wont work. I tried to sync but that's not working either

This man speaks the truth... it happens once in a while, just hold the red button on the wii down for about 15 seconds by itself to clear the syncing of anything on the system, and then leave it alone... after that, all you gotta do is hold the red button on the wii AND the red button on the wiimote at the same time and then look at the 4 lights flashing on the wiimote...after a few seconds it should stop, which means it's calibrated.
