I love how people compare incredibly expensive/hard to obtain gear with realitvely easy to obatain/cheap gear.

Assasin's Armlet's are not eay to get. I have seen 1 pair in 3 years of Dynamis(never missing a Xarc 2x a month at least). Homam Manapoles are pretty easy to get. Takes 1-2 weeks to farm an Omega set.

Dusk Gloves are somewhat expensive for some, tho a solid TP substitute for THFs.

Speed Belt is very hard to obtain and should not even be listed on your PLD/NIN set Nynja. Swift Belt ok, but even that can be hard to get for some.

Also, just fyi Walhara Turban sucks for PLD/NINs who can get Bahamut's Mask or Aegishjalhmr. Not everyone gets 2xMarch either. You basically listed the Ultimate set-up for PLD/NIN, not the normal.

As has been stated THF is A- dagger. And because of the low attack a thief has, meat is vital to many instances for us, so we need to boost accuracy where we can. BLU can eat sushi because most of their damage is spells which only needs accuracy, thief should be eating meat. I eat meat on everything as thf, I haven't purchased or used sushi in many months. I'm also 4/5 Homam and it's a large reason I can get away with it so well.

It's not so absolute. Getting off 5% more Flashes over the course of a longer fight and lowering your Utsu timer on some mobs is very valuable.

With 12% haste (homam pants, hands, swift belt, dusk boots) I hit recast cap with double marches + haste. However I'm usually not in situations where I get double march, so I use Turban pretty frequently.

Or you could, you know, bring a ranger to the alliance, and everyone can eat meat and get acid bolts...

Thief acid bolts on anything higher than low VT arent reliable at all (I'm talking with sushi). It seriously fucks with the thief's TP gain as well, and half the time they dont even proc. On anything HNM related, forget about it, rangers have enough problems getting em to proc.

Im just wondering why you let DRG lot feet first? Wyvern +50 HP is pretty pointless nowadays since its no longer a 2hr recast. The haste is nice I agree but I think that PLD, DRK or even THF would gain the same level of benefits as DRG would get from the feet.

They add 16 to healing breaths with AF+1 pants(+15% wyvern hp). While it's not huge, it does all add up and make a difference. For attack breaths, I laugh at any drg who uses homam for WS's. They are really nice boots, for all jobs that can use them.

If you do want to make an argument for jobs, DRG and DRK have access to amir, which are better for non-haste meeling. So unless they have a proper haste build, the boots arn't as good as a 20k assault item.

on my thief, I prefer to eat this instead of this. But hey, thats just me.

I don't see how +4 Accuracy in one slot is going to make the difference between needing to eat sushi over meat. (Assuming that is sushi, your link is broken). But hey, that's just me.

No, 4 acc isn't going to make a difference. But if you say use homam gloves and feet over dusk, you gain 10 acc. Add in other acc items, and it makes a difference in the long run. That's like saying using dusk gloves +1 over NQ is dumb when they are only 1% more. 1% haste alone isn't going to make a difference. But hopefully you have other haste gear to go with it.

e-body has 20 acc including the +10 dex. I was not saying it was a realistic alternative, but I was just pointing out homam body does not have the most accuracy on a body piece for drk.
