I could easily break 1.8k if I had a bq ring, lol. Kraken drk HP is serious fking buisness.

Hands, Legs, Feet are probably better than all the other alternatives. and the HP thing is no joke.Originally Posted by Khajit

Dusk Jerkin is also a higher HP alternative, but Homam is the best combination of both without being as rare or expensive.Originally Posted by Allundaria
Seeing as how Ares Cuirass is the most common Salvage piece out atm (3 different ones referenced on these boards, + 1 Morrigan Robe), assuming a drk has around 1700hp in their souleater set (Kuno said 1.8, but I'll work w/ 1.7), would you use Homam over this
reference numbers:
1700 * 0.03 = 51
1800 * 0.03 = 54
Well I consider myself an 'average' drk sitting at 1.8k. Slone can get to 1.9k easily and breaking 2k can also be possible depending on race/hp merits.Originally Posted by NynJa
K that explains it somewhat. I didn't know the extra hp actually enhanced souleater as opposed to just giving the mages more time to curebomb.
As far as accuracy goes even Hauby+1 is equal to homam body in terms of accuracy. The 6 dex= 3 acc + the 12 acc already bulilt in. NOt factoring in the HP+ stuff that leaves it's a battle of 12 atk and 6 str vs 2.5% triple attack. Just adding to that little argument over homam body and it's acc being useful to drk.
Enhance Triple is completely useless in a kraken souleater situation, unless your kraken is broken.
Actually, on that notion:
What is the activation rate on multi hit weapons in correlation to double/triple attack ?? (Sorry I know its been answered, but I forgot, since it never really mattered)

Following the laws of english, it's in context. Go back to school.Originally Posted by layoneil
Double/Triple procs before the weapon, which would mean that Homam body skews Kraken Club closer to 3 hits (average of 4.5) and WAR sub (don't know if they use it for KC, but just for example) skews it closer to 2.Originally Posted by NynJa

Looks like a sammich to me.
You're not good at memes.
Depends greatly on the situation IMO. Typically there's 3 different situations for a Kraken DRK, and each situation ideally uses a slightly different set of gear and food.Originally Posted by NynJa
First would be a zerg situation where it'll be a fast fight and there's a good amount of resources. In these fights Feint will be on for nearly all (if not all) of the duration of Souleater. Accuracy doesn't really matter at all for this situation, and you shoot for as much HP and Haste as possible. Ares body would be best here.
Second would be an average/more common situation, where Feint isn't likely to be on and the mob you're facing has decent evasion. In this case you'll want to shoot for more of a balance of acc, HP, and Haste (which basically describes most pieces of homam gear). In this case you'd most likely be better off with Homam body.
Third, would be the same as above except the mob has very high evasion. In this case you'd go more for acc over anything else, sometimes even to the point of wearing almost complete accuracy. This usually only applies just for stuff like AV and JoL, or other long fights against an HNM where you're using a Kraken DRK as damage. Debatable whether Homam body or Adaman Hauberk would be best here.
Whether you have songs or not and how good your gear is factors into the last two as well, but yeah that's the general point. All things considered I'd still favor a Homam Body over Ares for kraken DRK just because it'd be more ideal for the average situation.
